The frame is worth something to someone with a rotted truck. I wouldn’t scrap that.

    Hell if I get more
Storage sorted I’ll come grab it

In this case, if you'd be willing to sell the ignition coils and connectors with pigtails, shoot me a PM with price shipped to Indiana. 46062
    Thanks!

If the frame is good I'm sure you could sell it instead of scrap it. There's gotta be someone with a rotted frame that loves their truck. I'm sure there's several

How's the condition of the center arm rest?
    Does it have heated mirrors?

I'll check it out, but I need the pigtails also as I want to use them on the 911. It's got EFI and ITBs and I'm not stoked on my current Audi ignition coils.

Edit: I need at least 6. Prefer a complete set b/c then I have 2 spares for either vehicle.

No heated Mirrors. Center armrest is okay condition. It was a smoker truck though, so it's might have some skank.

That cylinder head looks like what happens when I leave some of my non-stainless brewing stuff soaking in an acid based sanitizer for like 6 months. Ive got a feeling this job is gonna have a little more than what he expects up its sleeve.

That looks pretty typical of an engine bay that lives in states where they salt the roads...I'd hate to see the frame...:(

Good eye. I was looking at that myself.

Our engines need that Phosphate based component in the coolant fluid to prevent this crusty inside as well as outside. I was reading the iron and aluminum on our engines will cause a malreaction without the Phosphorus which neutralizes the chemical reaction. Its time based with our coolant changes versus mileage because the Phoshorus wears off over time.

I’m sure the Northern Climes road salts can cause this externally, as well as @speedtre suggests.

Thats a killer deal. Too bad I stocked up on Mobil1 last year. I bought like $200 worth of oil (50 quarts) thinking how great a deal it was. Shoulda held back on stockpiling.

Anyhoo, I saw Wallywurrll has ‘High Mileage’ Dex/Merc (spec’d for A340F transmission). Cost is $17 a gallon. Wonder if anyone has tried it?

Don't feel too bad. The Pennzoil deal is only 5 qts per household. I was going to order a 2nd jug for the Rav4 then I read the fine print.

Still a great rebate though. Oil has a long shelf life so might be worth doing 1 since its essentially free.

Hell that is a great deal for mobil1 considering I used to pay about $50 or $60 for 7 quarts and a filter

My wife picked up some Kirkland synthetic for around $25-28 for 10 quarts. I was pretty satisfied with that price. Too bad her beast takes 7 and mine takes around 6 if I recall.

I was looking at the new yufanya h1 projectors I got and they actually look to have little bit nicer bulb holders than the nilight brand. Not sure if this will matter much with anything besides installation. The nilight has the bulb face sitting right on or nearly on the screw heads that fasten the bulb holders to the bowl. If you round those screws off at all you have to file them to get the bulb to sit flat again. The yufanya has the bulb face off the screws a bit more.

We'll see how much tuning the yufanya projectors require and maybe I'll swap those bulb holders over to the nilights before I sell them. I have miromoto bulb holders for these anyway.

Got any pictures? My 3/4 ton has a set of aftermarket ones, but I don't think they would fit the Tundra

Question for the group. What's the best way to check LCA bushings to see if they need to be replaced? That's the only part of the front suspension I haven't replaced.
