Timing Belt/Water Pump/Pulleys Done Today

Went ahead and had The Job done today. While I wasn't even half-way to the 100k mile mark, (42k), it is an '06. 14 years and 42,000 miles may be preventative overkill but I do have peace of mind now that it is done.
Belt looked shiny but not rotten. Water pump seemed to be in good shape while both of the pulleys seemed a bit sticky but not rattly.
$830 out the door with new coolant/flush as well as a complete look-over. No leaks or squeaks.

I'm thinking my timing belt will go before the next one is due.

Figured I had 800 bones now but not a few grand if the motor Sh#$ the bed.

Happy and confident she'll go a while.

PS. Also did a 2" front leveling last week. Stance is much nicer. More Truckish.

 

That's a good price all in...and yes, the years say it was time.
