Hey guys, first time posting here.

    I recently bought a base SR5 2017 tundra.

On Wednesday I will be putting a 3.5 Rough Country Lift on it, I recently purchased wheels and tires 295/65/R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I kinda pulled the trigger early and the guy said I may have some rubbing with 35 inch tires but im not sure, does anyone have any experience with this?

Depends on the offset and width of the wheels.

I’d bet money you are atleast gonna drop mud flaps and need 1/2 bumper spacers. Atleast that’s what I had to do on my 285/65/20 tires on my stock platinum wheels with 1.25 spacers and it was also needed once I went with 20x9 +18 offset same tire.

My old FN BFD's had a 12+ offset and 2.75" OME coilovers. 34.5" Cooper STT Pro's. No cab mount chop required but I'm sure you will need to, plus the flaps need to go.

Safest way is to do a bmc and be ready for spacers if the offset rubs, but +12 should be okay.

Bmc/cmc is easy, dont let a little cutting intimidate you haha. Removed the mud flaps, throw the tires on, if it runs the cab mount, chop it and roll on

How does it look after you chop it though? Or are spacers a better idea?

If you mean wheel spacers, that will only make it rub the cab mount even more. After you do the cut if you do it, you can have someone weld a filler plate in and it will look factory, there are a few companies that sell the fill plates pre cut and bent, just make your cut with it as a template and you're good. I just did mine yesterday to put my 37's on today and dont plan to put a plate on there for a bit (time and having someone make one for the cut I did)20200209_144531.jpg

I was talking about 1/2 bumper spacers to push the front bumper out further since mine rubbed in the front of the wheel well. I had no issues with bmc rub. The spacers I’m talking about wouldn’t help you on and rubbing in the rear of the wheel well.

Try and stay away from spacers all together.
