I love jeeps. I was going to get one but they are absurdly over priced. I went to a Tacoma then within 7 months got a tundra. I debated going to the gladiator again when I decided to get rid of the Tacoma but there was no way for that price tag plus the bed is so small. Glad I went tundra.

They are taking well below sticker here now in WV. They didn’t do anywhere near what they expected at the price points they started with.

I'm starting to see quite a few here in Denver Metro. Going for a premium here. To be expected. Used Wrangler prices here are nuts.........but we do have this small detail here in CO..................nice views huh.....

The ones I've seen here are pretty tricked out. Tricked out just fine for Colorado mountain high wheeling.

The only stock version that looks right is the rubicon trim level.

Yeah I read you could fit 35s on the rubi without a lift. The sports just look ugly.

Those look awesome. I would love to own one if I won the lottery. I am curious about the back seat. I few years ago, before I got my Tundra, I checked out a Wrangler. Back seat was totally ridiculous for carrying any people around who might be alive.

Aren't they going for near raptor prices? The jeeps have come a long way, but so has the Ecoboost and for most people something like a trd pro tundra or a raptor is going to wheel just fine. I get the Jeep "thing" being an x factor... I just don't get the price justification. Starting at $37 or something and a Rubicon is around $50. Let's see... A Rubicon keep or a super cab raptor? Sorry I'm coming down on the side of the Ecoboost and not Chrysler almost every time.
Base model vs a new tundra: tundra every time
Rubi vs a raptor: raptor every time
New Jeep payment vs mortgage: mortgage every time

I don't know much about the gladiator or its ''wheeling'' capabilities. To me it's a mid sized truck that the doors and roof come off. if you're into mid sized trucks why not get a Taco??

Easier to put larger tires on, solid front axle, Rubicon has lockers and auto disconnecting sway bar

Funny I just read an article last night talking about how FCA is in trouble regarding the new Jeeps and Gladiators.
Inventory is piling up because no one is buying them.

FCA took the sales success of the last generation and is trying to profit off of that. By doing so they are shooting themselves in the foot.

Jeeps and Gladiators are all overpriced and even with huge discounts not many people are even going to lots to look.

roof and doors don't come off a Taco. I sold my Wrangler for a tundra because personal situation changed and doors and roof weren't off much anymore. If i were in a situation where roof and doors were off 90% of the time I would go back to a Jeep in a heartbeat.

I have had several Jeeps before and was a Jeep guy before buying my 4Runner. I loved them and wheeled the wiz out of them. There were some reliability issues compared to Toyota but the reason I left Jeeps was $cost to purchase and miserable towing capacity.

The 4Runner is easily the best vehicle I had (still have it) and the stellar reliability is hard to beat. I looked at other trucks but could not justify the risk in buying anything other than a Tundra.
