Anybody using one of these? I need a PW...will be mostly used for car cleaning, but I just can't justify dropping major coin on one right now.......79 bucks aint bad.....

In my experience, harbor freight is good for quick, temporary, inexpensive fixes.

Something like a pressure washer I can't imagine lasting very long, but that's why it's $79 bucks.
Anything I have purchased from there was to use on a job and then discard after use.

    Harbor "single use only" freight.

I wouldn't do it. I've been really happy with my Sun Joe. There are some "used" ones for around $105, but $205 is a really good price for this model.

If you are looking to use a foam cannon with a pressure washer, you are going to want at least 2.0 GPM and close to it. If you can get close to 2.0 GPM and change out the orifice to give you better results

Had too many electric pressure washers burn up. Gas only for me.

and I disagree about harbor freight being a throw away tool store. Used to be of that mentality but some of their products are quite stout. Impact sockets, for example, are a really solid buy.

I have one for dirtbike post ride cleanup. So far it's been fine for that, not a lot of pressure. I've also used it to clean up greasy 70 year old tractors.

I got the extended warranty on it because I know it won't last. Most electric washers are short term.

I got this one for $116. It was on sale at that price, has a functional hose reel (not just a storage reel) and powers the foam cannon well. 2000 psi, 1.4 gpm.
If you’re not in a hurry, keep an eye out for a sale to jump on.

I bought on a few months ago. Used it to wash the car and truck a couple times, haven't had any issues. Not sure how long it'll last, but I've been hunting for a Honda powered gas PW the last few months to rebuild anyway. The HF one doesn't have a quick fitting for an aftermarket foam cannon, and the little one that comes with it doesn't hold much. But I don't really have any complaints.

If you go with the Harbor Freight unit, be sure to go to their website and sign up for coupons. That'll get you an extra 20% off of the price.

I had a electric pressure washer and was more like a glorified hose. your better to save and by a gasoline power washer it will last along time and you will be able to clean anything.

Check out the sunjoe pressure washers, they are pretty good for the price, no electric washer will match the power of a gas powered one, but if you check the psi that is on the higher end you should be fine

I have this little electric Ryobi from Home Depot. It was under $100 and works great for car washing, foam cannon and even cleaning the driveway. I have a gas pressure washer also but find myself using this one most of the time because it is so easy to move around and plenty of pressure for most jobs.

I got an HB many years ago, was on sale for $25, guess what that was 15 yrs ago and it still works, well the protection circuit (box w/ on-off switch) so I just cut it out and added another cord, woohoo!

It's rather strong, will knock off grime and mold growth on a metal travel trailer in 30 mins (32'). Luck all....

Had mine 3 years now, still works like a charm. For the price I didn't expect more than 1 year out of it, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

I use it on my House, my Harley, Travel Trailer, and Trucks. The soap dispenser is a nice feature too, just rinse after use so it doesn't get gummed up.

Nice! I was thinking of getting that one! There is another Ryobi model that puts out 1900 psi for $150 Ill probably go that route.

Those SunJoes frequently go on sale for around $120ish (give or take). I'd shell out the extra $40 for one of those before spending $80 on a Harbor Freight pressure washer. Nothing against HF (I've gone there for plenty!), but you get what you pay for.

I ended up catching this on an open box clearance at Lowe’s. It was brand new and I only paid 100 bucks for it.

Literally everything electronic I have bought from Harbor Freight has either failed to turn on or caught on fire within a few uses; and I think you can get lung cancer from breathing in the store.

I always wanted a gas PW for years because I got spoiled with a commercial one at an old job. It was never in the budget, but I always had uses for a pressure washer, so I got a free one from a neighbour. It was a cheap karcher and the wand leaked. I replaced the wand with a proper one and used the machine happily till the winter when I left it outside and it froze and blew up. I subsequently got a Simoniz 1900 PSI and another Karcher 1500 psi one for free because the wands leaked. I ended up giving away the other karcher and Ive had the simoniz for 3 years (I keep it indoors for winter now). I've spend maybe 50 bucks on a decent wand and I bet I can get free electric units whenever this one decides to quit. Gas is better performing, hands down, but for washing wooden decks and washing boats and cars and bikes and atvs and cleaning my house etc. the electric is pretty handy and smaller to move around, and it does the job well enough that I'm no longer looking for a gas one (even though I can afford one now). This summer I am plumbing a warm water line to the side of the house for washing my toys and truck
