I didn't install it myself, but i got my entire front end (including headlights), a pillars, hood and rocker panels done. also got ceramic pro lifetime over entire vehicle ( even parts with xpel). They make precut kits for our truck and I believe you can buy just the headlights if you wanted. I'm sure if you watched a couple videos on it, you could do it yourself. I got this all done in October the day I got the truck, but everything is holding up well, looks amazing when clean and definitely keeps the front end in pristine condition. I had a rock fly off of an 18 wheeleron the highway, I saw it coming and hit my front end, can't find a mark anywhere.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
A paint shop can also clear coat plastic headlamps to prevent oxidation.

I understand 3M wrap can be used on my headlights. Anyone do any of these headlight savers.
The headlights on my Corolla XRS get blasted and it dims the light when the becomes fogged. I use the kits to restore them, and it works well. But they fog all over again.
Plus my night vision isn't what it used to be. :( So if the XPEL or 3M prevent fogging from getting road sand, it will be good if they last.

well just called my local dealer and they told me they do not charge an install fee what ever the kit is listed for on xpel they will install them for. That sounds like the way to go.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Exactly what I used on my headlights and several of the ‘high traffic’ areas of the front end, hood. I didn’t do my front caps as I vinyl wrapped them separately.

Xpel is def one of the top PPM films out. mid you’ve ever laid vinyl, you can do it. It requires a soapy water/solution when applying for best results, in addition to a good squeegee and heat gun.

It is real simple to apply. Use palm-olive or similar dish soap and water and a squeegee. I bought a pre-cut kit and put it on my K1600GT (motorcycle) headlight, fairings, and saddle bags. It is GREAT stuff. If it gets a scuff mark or scratch, simple apply hot water or use a heat gun and it self-heals.

Kits for Tundras (I put my year and 1794 in the search criteria):

    I rec'd this reply...…

    Hello Guy,

thank you for contacting us regarding Paint protection film protection for your 2020 Toyota Tundra.

The cost for application includes labor and materials. We do not separate the two when it comes to applying ppf.

    Headlights $250/pair

    Fog Lights $100/pair

    Sincerely,

    Edward Kehaian

It seems expensive...Anyone else have this done? Is the cost inline with what you paid?

That sounds high. I would say $250 for both the headlights and foglights. Get another quote.

Unfortunately, when I went to the XPEL site and put in my zip code, this is the only dealer that came up.

My truck is getting PPF (Stek automotive) put on the front and rear fiberglass fenders right now. The rest of the truck is ceramic pro coated in Gold package as well. I'm having PPF put on my headlights as well.
