Oh yeah, love it! A bubble has formed in the composite roof, but gfc is going to swap it out. Haven't heard of any others with this problem, so hopefully just a one off. Not a problem other than cosmetic though. Other than that, it's been solid.

Need some heavier springs for the full camp load...

Did anyone see the one that was posted on here for sale? It got taken down for some reason. Anyone know why? I was interested in maybe buying it.

Considering selling my reservation spot. It's #626 which puts you only 20 people out from selecting colors. Anticipated build date June 2020.

Just got the news that the production time dates have been moved up. My original production date was December 2020. Now it's June 2020.

Just picked mine up last month, definitely worth the wait in my opinion. I placed my order October 2018 and it was finished September 2019. Made the trip out to Montana from West Virginia to pick it up and spent the week camping in it around Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

Pretty sweet rig. One question that I can't seem to nail down. How does it it do in inclement weather? Without a rainfly I have concerns.

I haven't been in it yet with heavy downpour but have spent several nights in it with gusty winds and light rain. I will say it is so much quieter to sleep in with wind than my old Tepui setup. There is hardly any flapping of the fabric in the wind which was a welcome relief. As far as rain, I camped at a spot that was lightly raining when I went to bed, and blowing rain, and when I woke up the next day there was no sign of any water intrusion. I did sleep with it all closed up. I did notice most mornings I would wake up with condensation on the outside of the tent but never felt any of it getting inside or through the fabric.

The other aspect I've really come to enjoy is how warm you can get in the camper with just a simple propane heater. I just spent a night up at my local ski resort and it got down below freezing with a light wind most of the night. I used a Little Buddy heater setup in the bed of the truck and left one of the sleeping platforms out so the heat would come up. I ended up in shorts and a t-shirt on top of my sleeping bag by the time I fell asleep, it warms up quick in there with it all closed up.

Love the look of your Pro. Are you on stock suspension? Which front bumper is that, and does it interfere with your skid plate? I have a 2019 Pro with a 1" Coachbuilder shim and +3 rear shackles. Jealous that you already have your GFC. I'm ordering one at the end of November.

Negative, long gone. Check forum.gofastcampers.com, sometimes people post their spots for sale there.

My truck has a full Icon setup for suspension. I knew I needed to upgrade it before getting the camper. I used to run a bed rack and Tepui tent on the stock suspension without issue but I wasn’t happy with how flat the rear leafs were getting. I also had the +3 shackles in the rear. I have the RXT leafs now on option 2.
Front bumper is the N-fab MRDS bunper and it does not affect the use of the stock pro front skid.

so i have a question on the GFC.. from the looks of it you enter it via the side, or a trap door arrangement. is that correct? this means that you have to move whomever else if up there if you have to get out of it.
just looking for feedback on it

You are correct. There is an optional side door for the tent or you can enter through the removable panels up through the bed. The removable panels can be situated so your parter won't have to move, but unless they're a really heavy sleeper, it would be hard to get out without waking them up.

Tested out my GFC last month and just added my drawers (decked)
On top of steel rock sliders, 46 gallon tank, full skids and camp gear I’m definitely going to be looking at some suspension upgrades
    For “Chancho the Tundra”

If your looking at a GFC for your Tundra definitely get the side door and ladder they sell.
We camped in the rain, wind and fairly cold desert nights and it was approved by wife’s standards for sleeping comfort and having the feeling of security being up off the ground at night.
    So far very pleased

The lead times on GFC's RTT (as opposed to their camper) are very reasonable, start-to-finish was less than a month for us. Another option to consider.

I sold an awesome Roam RTT that I absolutely loved because I have to get my rig in a parking garage at work and a plain ol' garage at home. I didn't have a choice. The low-profile of the GFC is hard to beat.

(Preempting the smart asses: Yes, I know it's not yet attached to the rack in the pic.)

This may have been answered but, what is the build timeline from build date to finish? I'm thinking of ordering one next month (only because I'm doing a 15 yr refi on my house currently and not suppose to buy anything). Thinking of driving out from Georgia to pick it up and spend some time checking out some National parks while I'm out there. Need to nail down some vacation days from work.
