My truck has the Ceramic Pro silver package on it. My back seat has a golden retriever. Of course, the window has to be down and she slobbers all over the exterior of the door. I dont know what's in said slobber, but it is impossible to remove without polish and a no cut pad. I dont want to go down that path and wear the coating off. Shouldn't the coating be able to withstand some dog slobber? If anyone has advice on how to remove it short of wiping it down at every stop, I'd appreciate it.

Slobber is acidic by nature. It is the beginning of digestion.

Best to get it off ASAP. Might have a spray bottle with Baking soda/water mix to neutralize in between washes.

How much baking soda would you use though? Don't want it to be abrasive to the coating.

A few teaspoons dissolved should be fine. As long as in solution it should be ok, not abrasive. If not all dissolves, dump some and add more water.

I hadn't thought about this and it makes sense. I'll have to have some stuff on hand and be diligent about cleaning it up. She's a hardcore drooled. Thank you.
