Hi all got a quick question about my tundra. This was purchased already lifted and no info at of the previous owner. Are these the stock struts and springs that comes with the stock tundra? Thank you.

They look like it to me any picks of the hole truck thays a hug spacer. Wondering how big of a lift it is. I think it's more then a 6"

One reason I think its stock is it has plastic inside of the coil most aftermarket will be just a rod no plastic around it. But I could be wrong.

It's from rough country they used to sell them separately from spring so I powder coated the spring before I installed it but yes it's an extended strut to get ride of the old spacer.

The only thing is of it rides rough now with that huge spacer then it probably will with a trd one as well. If I was you I would look amd ask around and find out what lift you have then see if someone makes an extended strut that length. Other in this forum can probably help figure that out I'm not that good lol

The lift is fab tech it only says that on the metal piece that connects the lower control arms

Since they're stock can I replace them with TRD pro? Or just trd off road? Don't think yellow will look good though.

If you replace anything get rid of that big ass spacer and get some real coil overs. That pig doesn’t need more lipstick it needs a makeover

agreed, you will be wasting time, effort, and $$ to simply replace them with another "stock" coilover, if you want to improve performance you need to scrap those spacers and invest some $$ in upgraded suspension components.

I agree with those who say spacers suck. I also think rough country sucks. They’re only popular because they’re basically the cheapest affordable junk for the masses

there is a spectrum...good, better, best...spacers suck period. good (least expensive but better than spacers) RC coils and definately set up like @Mnorris1206 said, if you want something thats a step up but won't break the bank look at some of the stuff Toytek has. great stuff and very reasonable for what you get. if you want to spend your tax return go straight for Kings or Icon...

Here’s my idea. I did exactly this with my 2007 CrewMAX and have been pleased.?

Ride Your current setup till the tires need replacing

Find some low mile factory takeoff suspension for cheap off the web or off the forum

Remove the lifted suspension and rear lift blocks. Replace everything back to stock suspension and a little bigger tire on the rims

Enjoy the much nicer ride, and also the fact that your tires won’t wear badly since a lift on stock upper control arms is bad juju for alignment angles

Unless of course you want to save up big $$$ and get it done right the first time. With a lift that much you’ll also need aftermarket upper control arms for alignment.

    spacer/block lifts suck.

Probably want a smaller block in combination with shackles so you can use a smaller block; how many inches is the block?

Unless you want to spend $900 on a new leaf spring pack...

Ditch that spacer...And I would be more worried about where all that oil is coming from. What's leaking?
