Swap was easy. I was just too nervous about breaking anything

Looks great, how do you like the center black part without the 2018 headlights that follow the same lines? That is one reason that I was on the fence about buying the OEM grill as opposed to the Chinese one the I have.

I like it. I want a set of the headlights like you have. I’m trying to sell my diesel to free up some $$$$.

Love this truck! Have you given any more thought into color matching the grill surround? I think it would bring it all together!

not at all. i haven't even color matched the panels under the headlights properly, they're slightly off. bought the Amazon spray paint that was supposed to be my color, but alas...

but i am happy with this look for mine!

love yours too :) (2008's looking like new Sequoias FTW!)

I hear ya. My grill surround is vinyl wrapped and a few shades off. I didn't even notice your panels bc my eyes were drawn to all of the other sweet mods.

TRD logo installed on the grill and on the side. Say hello to the first "TRD Platinum" The logos came in all red but I thought that was too loud so I vinyl wrapped just the top to make it black with a red shadow. Thoughts? Both the all red and black/red pics attached.IMG_5704.jpg 78C9F20C-D81C-435C-8768-7C44CC9F7A3E.jpg IMG_1464.jpg IMG_1463.jpg

Thanks guys, I like the two-tone as well. Now I am contemplating dressing the wheels with a little red. Any thoughts or suggestions. Not sure I want to do the rim blades thing. Maybe a small red TRD emblem or other red logo on the spoke? Throw out suggestions, I have a vinyl cutter and can cut pretty much anything. Also, got a chance to take a better shot today. Beau, your mods continue to capture my eye. I really like the idea of the two-tone TRDs. I need to learn how to vinyl wrap and then I'll be stealing this one from you, too. My interest in the red accents started when I got the PowerStop Z36 brakes, rotors, and calipers last month. The calipers are red and they really stand out behind my dirty, stock 20's that I will be dipping black when it warms up a bit more. Maybe that look will work on your rig, too.

YES, I love the red calipers. My brakes are in great shape, so painting them is my only smart option at this point. BTW, I had the same wheels and was going to dip them until I came across my current ones that were brand new take offs for $900 installed with new TPMS. You may want to keep an eye out for a deal like that:). Thanks for the kind words!! I'll continue the mods....

I posted this in it's own thread. but will mention it here. TRD style shift knob for $20 shipped on Ebay. Hard to beat that price! Dead knock off that is just not up to the same quality as the TRD. Real metal and leather though!IMG_3630.jpg

Thanks for posting the TRD knobs w/ this red stitching. I stole your wheel wrap and selected the one w/ the red stitching. Was surprised/disappointed they didn't offer a matching wrap for the handle. It's in the cart. Just have to pull the trigger...then for the TRD knob, too. Uncle Sam's kickback can't come soon enough!

After stitching mine up, I wished that I had gotten the red stitching. That, and a lot of other mods will be saved for next time I grow bored of my truck and want to drop 60k on a new one.

I keep a spreadsheet of my wish list. Just copy/paste links in from FB and forums and pull the trigger when I'm ready. I'll put together a build page one day soon. Baby steps. My next priority has to be the badge and grill chrome delete. Already purchased my dip cans just needs some warmth and less rain and I'm dippin'!

$20 TRD replica shift knob. It's an exact copy minus the QA. The edges of the metal are a little rough and the stitches aren't as clean either. Best TRD replica that I have seen to date though.
    IMG_0270.jpg IMG_0995.jpg

Here is the comparison between an authentic TRD shift knob and the replica.

Pretty close to the real deal. Stitching is not as clean, rough edges like you said. Slightly more oval at the top. The trd is more roundish square.

Holding it in the hand the dimensions and shapes are pretty much identical...just not the quality. I think it'll last awhile because the material is definitely metal and leather. As you can see, I'm keeping the replica....good nuff for me.

Nice. I like the red on grill (stands out better) and the black/red on sides (not too flashy in all red)....

So my push button starter button began to stick and I reached out to Eddy at EASYGUARD who promptly mailed me a replacement. He asked me which style I wanted and I went with the P2 hoping that the construction was a bit better. Not only is the construction better, but the "orangish" color is a dead on match to the sequoia instrument panel backlight. Here is a pic, much nicer and more stock looking now for sure!
