I picked up a 3rd in march. Another 91. And technically I have 4 if you count my gf's 15. But it's a whole other animal.

 

At this rate you'll be able to start you own museum when you retire with over 50% of the world's remaining SHOs in it

 

should. the a340 remained really unchanged all those years. a newer one will have a beefier gear set

What sort of paint markers do you guys recommend for mechanical work?

 

Can anyone explain the difference in 13WL and 13WG Calipers?

I currently have the 13WE Calipers and want to upgrade to a larger size. I have 16” OEM wheels.

I will be buying some remans from NAPA.

 

Saw this on Big Guurrll.

 

They're larger callipers overall and have larger pistons/pads.

 

Which one should I do? I’m assuming the WL.

 

If you're replacing them anyway there's not really a downside.

What did your first gen do to YOU?

 

13WL and 13WG are same sized upgrade calipers from the 13WE, but the L and G have different brake line connector locations.

 

Tomorrow is rear drum brake service day. Rebuilding my cylinders with a kit. Installing new shoes and brake springs kit. Installing my power bleeders on the rear.

 

If anyone is in Vegas or passing through and wants this grille guard for free let me know. It's probably too large to ship. I only took it off so I could fit in my garage without knocking down a wall!

 

Went and did a side job last night at my local watering hole. Normal ice machines last anywhere from 7-12years depending how they are maintained. This bad boy had a birthdate of 1999!!! The copper is starting to show thru the nickel coating which isn’t good, I told them not to put any more money into this one, and start pricing out a new one.

 

Grille guard looks good, remove the wall.

 

I would just park it outside, but black paint with the sun down here is not a good combo.

 

How do all the limo's over there survive, biweekly wax or once a month? Small enough trk to get er done quickly. I had an XD Titan and gave up on waxing that thing. Too much painted real estate for me .

 

I wax twice a year. Wash, clay, wax on that truck is at least half a day for me! We have no deer around here to hit so the grille guard had to go

 

I can tell you wax your vehicles because your 4Runner looks great.

 

Marking parts for labeling or for marking fasteners to see if they've moved? I use viz torque like @Professional Hand Model posted. I use that to keep an eye on fasteners and make sure they haven't moved.

 

Anybody have the torque spec on these 2 brake caliper bolts?
