    Is it normal when setting the gap on oem irridium spark plugs to .043 for the ground electrode be slightly tilted back from the irridium electrode?471E082A-AAA5-467A-B216-64829C40C5FA.jpg

    If the plug gap is correct, I would leave it alone. I have read the gaps on iridium plugs are typically correct right out of the box, and that the electrodes are not easily adjusted.

    usually you don't adjust them. They should have correct gaps out of the box if you got oem IR ones
