I have been looking through these forums today looking at tire sizes and what would/wouldn't fit. And I feel like a idiot but I don't know if I have a TRD or a TRD pro or if those are the same things.

My truck is a 2017 SR5 TRD. How would I know if its a TRD pro? Would it say so on the sticker on the back?

It would have a bed stamp saying TRD PRO and no sticker

Just like Marty said, the word TRD PRO wound be stamped into the metal on the side of the bed.

The TRD Pro is a trim level on its on, the fact yours is a SR5 takes pro out and just a TRD add on.

Just ceck out build thread in sig
How does one, dislike a comment?

Edit: They could have charged this guy for a TRD Pro by putting a sticker on it and he would have never known the difference.

My guess is you don't race your truck in the dirt. So you don't need the PRO with the FOX suspension. You would have the Sport tuned Bilsteins shocks and 20 inch rims along with the rest of the package. Enjoy it!

So I have been trying to figure out my rim size as well. The sticker inside the door says its 18'' rims but I physically measured the rims and its above 18, but I don't know if that is a reliable way to get rim size.

18" TRD Off-Road. How about a pic of your truck and all your questions will be answered. And welcome from CT by the way.

That's an 18" wheel. You can also look at the inside label on the wheel itself or even look at the tire measurements.

    Edit: Beat me to it

Thanks! and Hi from Las Vegas! I am working on getting pictures and writing up a new post with all my questions in one post. I have been scouring these forums and love the knowledge you guys have and share. Looking forward to learning and hopefully one day being able to help others. Im in the USAF for 12 years and work on Helicopters, I know how to turn a wrench but I just have never really worked on or learned about car/truck before but looking to learn. This site has a ton of great info, Im just not 100% familiar with some of the terms. Should have my post made within the next hour or so.
