Well, it was better 'til this. We're getting a lot of rain here at the coast so I thought Tahoe would be getting a lot of snow. Stay safe.

Dealer has this 2015 TRD Pro with 30k on it and they're selling it for 40k. It was the general managers demo truck. Ive seen him driving it. Makes me think...hmmmmmm

Now that I have a kid, a crew cab is super tempting. I love my truck, but its a DC 4.6 with a super small gas tank lol.

Like me, you're a little bit compulsive Joe, so incase you're already there looking at the Pro and getting ready to buy it, that one has the small gas tank too.

Shit happens. Driver in the ford had a compound leg fracture that was pinned between the floorboard and seat. The whole cab crushed like a coors light can. Passenger of the jeep had a cut on his head. Needless to say I'm out of quick clots, gauze and gloves. NHP sent me on my way with the quickness since I didn't witness the actual accident, just the spinning after the accident (blind corner). Fucked up society when I'm the asshole that stops and actually helps out instead of just taking pictures and highway patrol treats me like a retard. I will say that the fire crew were good people. They showed up first and I gave them the whole rundown on who was injured and where, what I did, and names of the injured. When NHP showed up I was a tourist. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

I wouldn't take it personal. You did a great job, exactly what you were supposed to do, and I'm sure it was greatly appreciated, especially by the involved parties.

Don't get me wrong, some people in all professions are ignorant, but when the roads are like that, in their (NHP) line of work, it's like working the fryer at a pizza & wing joint on super bowl Sunday. No time for BS, do what needs to be done and get to the next one.

You did your part and provided first aid and passed on the info to first responders. NHP wasn't there first, so their priority becomes investigating the crash and clearing ASAP. Unless it's real nasty or a fatal crash, who performed what treatment isn't really important to the crash investigator, especially when there are a handful of weather related crashes pending.

You didn't witness the crash and were no longer needed in their eyes.

In those conditions if a vehicle doesn't need to be on scene, it needs to clear, if a person isn't needed, they need to clear as well.

Rubberneckers cause additional crashes at scenes, so it's best for all to have minimal vehicles and people there.

If he/she/them were flat out ignorant, disregard all of this. I wouldn't blame them for being short and wanting you out ASAP though.

Wow, what a day! I think you're a fuckin' hero bro. Too bad the NHP couldn't see it that way. At least the fire crew were cool. They probably really appreciated the triage. :hattip:Hats off to you!

It's cold today - that's Deg C for those South of the Canadian Border.
I lived in Fort McMurray before moving South a number of years ago, my faithful Rav 4 would fire up like a champ in these conditions.
