Are you going to update this thread with how many buyers are in the group buy as time progresses?

Also, if we're local.. could we move a little of that "free shipping" savings elsewhere? :) Maybe $150 off if picked up?

Best exhaust for Tundra available anywhere.
I started with a magnaflow on my 2014 and ditched it for a DD BAM.
    I never looked back.

Unfortunately we don’t make a A’standard system’ for first gen trucks. They’re an entirely different system built in an entirely different fixture.

Boo 1st gen always gets the shaft.

Any plans to get us a deal if we order an exhaust system?

Have any idea how it sounds compared to a TRD dual exhaust? Already have it, but tempted to dump it for DD's exhaust and some long tube headers.

A friend of mine has the trd and wishes they had done the dd exhaust. It’s hard for me to say exactly what the difference is other than the sound is a lot throatier when on it and close to stock when not on it compared to the trd. The performance and being different than everyone else is why I chose dd. I believe there’s claims that you gain some low end torque which was slightly noticeable to me. The amount of r&d that Keith has into this kit is insane and w the long tube headers you’ll have a monster on your hands. I’d try and find someone in your area w it so you can hear the difference. I always offer mine up to ppl in Colorado so they can hear it for themselves.

I’ve been running the 8” for about 18 months and love everything about it. Sound, power delivery, and the price I got during a previous group buy. Sounds a lot better than the TRD exhaust.

I'm assuming that the larger the system (6", 8", 10") the quieter it is? The 10" is the quietest of the bunch? I'm 40+ and want a good sound but not obnoxiously loud

Yessir. I’m mid 30’s and didn’t want obnoxious loud so I went w the 8” and even my gf who makes fun of trucks w exhaust is in love w the sound. The hemholtz resonator helps a ton. Iv been on several road trips in the mountains where it’s higher gear and the annoying drone is gone. The 10” id like to hear but haven’t seen one around so I don’t know what the comparison would be. Give Keith a shout and he will explain in depth all of this stuff. The dude is insanely knowledgeable and willing to help in any way possible

I'd lean you towards a 10" with his Helmholtz resonator.
Call Keith and discuss it with him.
He will ask you what you're looking for a far as sound, if you tow anything, etc..
8" can still have a tad of rasp if you jump on it with a pretty stable idle/startup rumble.

I started with a 7" (sounds pretty much like an 8") and at 57 years old it was just a tad too loud.
Even though I kept it for almost 3 years...
My 10" is perfect, kinda miss the startup WHOMP of the 7" (but I bet my neighbors don't), but very happy with the 10".

Good thing about Keith and his BAM systems, if you don't like what you have, he will swap them out.
Of course you have to pay shipping both ways, for me it was about $180, but that is a lot cheaper than buying an entirely new system.
Borla, Maganflow, and others will not give you that option....

When I buy another Tundra, in 5 or 6 years, I might even go with a 12" if Keith is still making BAMs...

@dirtydeeds I am looking at the dual side exit, love the way it looks Just worrried it’ll be too loud. Does it sound different than the budget system tied back into the tailpipe?

Maybe you should look into just getting a dual tip. A member on here got a black tip off of Summit to go on their stock tailpipe with a DD system and it looks great.

The dual budget side exit has the most drone out of all of the systems that we make. If drone is a concern, but you want it as aggressive as possible, get the standard budget system.

I can't say I'm dissapointed with stock but you guys are making me reconsider...

The website references 65mph for reasonable noise levels. What's the 8" sound like cruising at 75/80 on the freeway?
