Wasn’t expecting this to arrive so soon but, happy spring break to me.

Ordered this from AutoAnything, tried to get @eccracer104 to get me a deal but it seemed that it’s at its best price right now. I was a little worried about not knowing the brand, but turns out it’s actually made by Napier. I’m super pumped about it. Fit is near perfect, it’s roomy as can be and it seems to be super well made.

This is my excuse to spend much more time down in the Big Bend area. I’ve already got a trip on the books to hit up Palo Duro canyon in March. That’s up in your neck of the woods right @bmf4069

    Awesome!

I run a similar tent on my truck, been super happy with it and no issues after about two years of use.

    Enjoy your up coming trips!

Absolutely! Maybe 8-10 miles from me. I wired a few houses up on the rim back in my apprentice years.

I can see my phone & be unobtrusive about using it. I’m right handed & wouldn’t be able to use anything mounted on the left very well.

I want dual side exit so bad but I would just get crushed betweens rock and.my sliders eventually unless I took it thru the body

im going to look closer at it. but im sure i can get it to tuck up high enough.

the other option is custom rear bumper with rear exit duals (like dodge)

im not a big rollpan fan. lowered trucks theyre alright. but this truck will get a Custom rear bumper eventually. might incorporate the exhaust (dont want to dump under the truck. its getting old as it is because of drone)

the tacoma with my magnaflow the pipe is nice and tucked up. never had an issue where it hit anything. i might try to setup exhaust like that. Or do a quick ish connect tailpipe for when i want to offroad.

Just curious, why did you need new battery cables? Are AGM's different?

I moved up one size to a 27F but didn't change anything else so I want to make sure I didn't make a mistake.

Did they honor that in person at the store? They won't let me use it on their website on X2Power batteries...I want to get a 31M. Anyone know of any reason that would not be a good idea?

I like the look of this but I didn't realize our phones were magnetic..? It just sticks right to that pad and stays put?

Funny, I was following a Dodge on the highway yesterday, thinking I don't like how the exhaust interrupts the rear bumper. Better clearance, but I don't like the look.

A mount like this - I just don't like what it would do to your knee in an accident.
notice that padded area down there is shaped... like a knee. ;-)
Experience taught me those padded knee bolsters, well pad/protect your knee in an accident.
Also, I had a friend with a ton of keys hanging down there, cut up their knee in their accident.

(Camper conversion underway.) Rebuilt engine w/265K miles, A.R.E. camper shell (w/cab pass-through, rooftop fan, and side windows delete), bedlinered steel ladder rack (w/wooden rooftop deck and hammock mount), all LED lights (red dash, 4" side floods, 32" rear bar), Android head unit, 1.5" lift from Bilstein 5100 struts, 32" DuraTrac tires on factory rims, 1.5" wheel spacers, Moog suspension parts, SuperSprings leaf kit, diff drop, Reese trailer brake control, GoRhino Hitch Step, debadged, F-150 rear bumper, Sequoia center console unit upgrade, partial rear bench seat delete, dashcam, aftermarket speakers, 50% sound deadening coverage, custom tools unit.
I returned my RAM mount because I didn't want to drill into the dash. They also put their giant logo on crooked which was mildly annoying. Still, they make some beefy hardware.

I think its more shaped like the older, handle style e-brake. It also conveniently houses a trailer brake controller very well.

T"special may only be applied to second gen trucks 07+ standard systems.

the 6010’s will absolutely fit 05-06. Just have to shut down air injection using a Hewitt module. Call to order. And with any other questions"

Still good info for vvti guys wanting long tubes. Use the 6010 jba long tubes with a secondary air system bypass. So long tubes for around $530-550 plus electronics and such or shorties for $500

no, the mount itself is magnetic. It comes with a metal “sticker” that you place on the back of your phone or case.

Thanks. Blonde moment I guess. I have the steelie mount for my phone but it's not a great fit for our trucks. I need something like the one shown above.
