Had to do my steering wheel trim to match my earlier post from today with all my interior carbon fiber/black out...so much better without that bright silver!

    Nice Installs!
I'm going to add the Bed Light Kit and Power Tailgate lock also on my 2020 Limited.
Can you advise on how to run both wires through what grommet?
Did you just use one (each kit has one for one wire cable set)?
Did the grommet stretch? Did you seal it?

Thanks for any advice on the multiple cables through 1 grommet advice you might have.

    ¡Gracias Hermano!

Yes, each kit has its respective wire loom/grommet. I decided to use the grommet that came with the power tail gate kit. The grommet also appeared “stretchy” and has a recessed like channel that appeared to allow for another wire loom.

This wire loom was the shorter of the two and was able to easily connect to the existing truck harness on the passenger kick panel without feeling too snug or having an abundance of loom (that one is the bed light kit).

I did a dry run with the tailgate loom first. I loosely routed the wire along the large factory wire loom atop/along the passenger frame rail. After arriving to the existing camera/hitch harnesses, I added about 6ish inches in addition to that by adjusting the grommet placement from inside the passenger floorboard.

I used the approximate measurements of this loom and grommet to match the bed light kit wire loom. I unwrapped the tape holding that grommet in place and removed it completely (undamaged) from the loom. I then removed the wired leads from the connector/harness for each of the lights. This allowed for easier entry of the wire loom into the tailgate grommet with the recessed channel.

I used small, spring loaded long needle nose pliers and gently inserted inside the grommet and then stretched the grommet over the second wire loom (bed light kit). This was a process as I did not want to tear the grommet. I required a helper to help feed the loom.

Once the ends of the looms (routed toward the rear of the truck) were matched, the leads were inserted back into the connector harness shells and then the final install began by feeding the looms with the one grommet. I then taped the grommet back onto and around the looms. It may have been sufficient but I still used small amounts of black sealant on the grommet to the floorboard.

The bed light kit loom, inside the cab and after the grommet, is about 5ish feet! Hind sight being 20/20, I would have rather cut that excess instead of routing it back under the passenger cowl/kick plate. However, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I ended up opting not to route the loom the way the instructions called for along the foam on the driver’s side floor board. the driver foam

Instead I used wire clips in some existing holes along underneath and through the dash to the cargo light circuit.

My apologies for being long-winded but I hope this offers you some help! I think you will find that it will be an easier task once you start your project!

I bought my 5100s for less than $200 shipped for the pair. I put the coilover and schock together myself with the OEM springs and top hat along with @BOSS4x4s shims. The 6112s are around $725 shipped. But the 6112s come with much better springs and I had them assembled.

The 5100s at top setting with shims was really harsh, the OEM spring was preloaded so much that I lost rebound when hitting potholes and such at speed. The truck would jar and felt it in the dash and the truck would veer slightly. It just felt dead...Driving off road it was very stiff and bouncy. The truck took a beating on washboard roads and the occupants would bounce all over the place when wheeling. The 6122s soak up the holes and bumps now. Feels so much better.

Pretty simple. I busted a knuckle breaking the nuts loose (torqued to somewhere in the 10,000 ft lb range it felt like) and I probably should have waited for my breaker bar to get here. I left the entire bumper assembled and did one side at a time, leaving one nut on the opposite side from where I was working so the whole thing didn't fall off. Probably took less than an hour.

I have just recently heard this from a coworker, and have now seen these reviews on Amazon about the product. However, most of the other reviews are good, so I am not saying this is a counterfeit product, but make sure before using it. I know the actual product is good.

Installed some window vent visors. Changed oil, topped off battery water, fixed an intermittent interior dome light problem.

The gold colored bolts came with the Method wheels installed, but I ordered black ones and swapped them out when I first had them installed. Thought that it was too much black, so I blasted the gold bolts with aluminum oxide (mini sand blaster in my dental practice for removing cement from inside old crowns), used Rustoleum's self etch and prime, sprayed them with Duplicolor's Barcelona Red, and lastly Rustoleum's satin clear enamel. I don't think that I would have needed to "sand" blast them, but I did it just for fun.

Installed my wireless console charger today. I tested it with my iPhone XR with an OtterBox case and my wife’s XR with an OtterBox and a pop socket. Both worked very well. I was surprised that my wife’s phone with the pop socket worked at all.

Ordered some ToyTec 1.5"/2" rear blocks to replace the 1" blocks hoping it will turn the radar from part time to full time. ToyTec recommended the 2", but I have a relocation bracket that is also supposed to compensate for the 3/1 lift. It does work for a while then quits. The plan is to start with the 1.5" and see how it works out. If it still has issues, then on to the 2". I figure it's worth a few bucks so everything I paid for works like it's supposed to.

The Toyota website shows options for 2020 Tundra SX trim (blackout and color-keyed) in cement. I fell in love with it only to find out that Toyota doesn't actually make that trim level in cement :annoyed:. They don't make any cement color trucks without chrome on the front.

So I picked up the TRD Offroad version with the "Convenience Package" so the rear was already color-keyed and mirrors black. Then bought the front end caps from sparksparts and had them painted; ordered a factory grille in cement also from sparksparts. The wheels are the factory off-road wheels powder-coated black. [Exterior photo was taken in my messy garage, so I deleted the background]

For the interior, I purchased black factory center trim and air vents, AJT black cupholder trim, and vinyl-wrapped the steering wheel with 3M black brushed metal from Amazon. The red lines are just part of a rubber liner kit from amazon.

Since I had the truck torn apart, I tossed in a full taco tunes package and sound deadening kit...sound isn't the loudest I've had but it's tunned absolutely perfect.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have questions on how to do this. I'm getting rid of a bunch of factory parts to offset some costs, some are already painted black if it'll be helpful for you.
