Very similar indeed, I really like the victory because it has the cut outs for the lights. But like you said trying to find at a use price or a different rack at a cheaper price, Thanks

Victory 4x4 and Prinsu racks are both pretty similar. If you like that style, there are also the racks from UpTop Overland: https://www.uptopoverland.com/collections/tundra
Similar style, but from what I can tell has some built-in light options and handles on the sides. Also uses a thicker metal and has dual plates on the sides to hide wiring.

That is a nice rack! For me, the extra weight of the additional sides might not be worth its purpose but it does make it look neater.
All of the designs seem so simple to make; two sides, a front and a bunch of extruded aluminum. If I find the time to dial in my plasma table, I may just end up making my own rack.

I have a prinsu, really like it. Yes theres wind noise but I have mud terrains and listen to my music loud so it doesnt bother me. You can get then with light bar cutouts as well, opted out as I have the lightbar in my bumper and ditch lights.20191122_171411.jpg 20191122_171420.jpg 20191122_171448.jpg 20191206_095217.jpg

The Coachbuilder definitely has bad wind noise but I fixed it by adding a trim piece between the cab and bottom of the wind fairing. Made it from Pex tubing enclosed in rubber pipe insulation and secured with screws. Looks like part of the rack.

The Coachbuilder also has more extruded cross members than the Prinsu or Victory racks and they can be prewired for a multitude of light setups.

I have the Victory 4x4 rack on my tundra. I like it, but it took longer to get than expected.

I also like the look of the coachbuilder rack, but by the time I heard from them about getting a rack I went a different route. So there's that.

The Victory 4x4, Prinsue, and KC Highlights racks are all very similar in construction. The 80/20 extruded aluminum is easy to work with to add mounts, lights, gear, etc.

I've seen mentioned several times about the number of cross-members on the rack. All this does is add additional weight to the rack and possibly introduce more wind noise. It doesn't allow more load capacity because that is determined by the load rating of the cab itself.

I ordered 2 of the UpTop overland racks (one for my topper) and they are fabricating my LP6 brackets on. Hoping to have them done in a few weeks. Will circle back when done.

Up top overland is based out of castle rock CO where I live. I see them on Toyota’s all the time in this area and they look top notch in person.

I wouldn't say it's noisy. Too minimal to tell if there's any more wind noise.

Been using the victory 4x4 roof rack for a while now myself and both loaded and empty I don't hear any wind noise.
It was quick to receive it also and it matches everything else Victory I have loaded on my truck :p

All these look great. Ive been thinking myself about getting a roofrack. Used one on my civic for 8 years and was definitely my best mod.
