Judging by the title it's another worthless click bait video for making money off of views. Bet there's 6 ads to sit through before the actual video even plays

Join a Ford forum and complain, if it's your video.....we really don't care.

Trading in a one year old vehicle is almost always a “worst decision ever” qualifying act

Not my video, and I purchased a Tundra. I just found it interesting and no ads before it played. Sorry guys if you thought I was trying to stir up trouble. That wasn't the intent.

I didn’t watch the video yet but my initial thought is this: you can grab a Pro for around $50K. A Raptor will set you back $73K. For $20,000 plus, the kind of money that will buy you a new entry level car, the Raptor should be superior in almost every way.

I watched it. The title doesn’t match the video. The guy filming made all really good and fair points. He is also confirmed in his decision that he did the best thing.
Not sure what the point is of posting this.

I've seen that before, and yea I clicked it to see what the guy had to say. It was worth watching but the title was clickbait.
Everyone has their own personal bar(s) to measure, their own set of what is important and what is not, and how to reach their decisions. For some, the extra money spent on a Raptor or similar 'high end' turnkey truck is everything. And they pay for it. If it makes them happy then great. If they find themselves second guessing their decision at some point, well maybe their 'bar' shifted a bit. Sometimes a marketing guy determining what makes a truck 'high end with all the goodies' isn't the same in the end as what you discover you really want, need or like having. I wrote down a list of what I needed, a real must-have list, then a list of wants (stuff like the moonroof). Then a 'things I must change/add' because it's not going to be on the truck but I need it, and a list of things I can do 'down the road as I go'. Yea, maybe too much thought but I was spending what is a lot of money to me and didn't want regrets. I didn't want to end up like this guy, taking a bath because I made a mistake.
Hopefully that guy doesn't go regretting again; maybe he should sit down and really think and plan out what he really needs if he finds himself looking at greener grass somewhere else again in a few years.
Maybe I'm too practical, but I buy vehicles to keep for a long time because I have other places I would rather spend (and save) my money.

I guess that I am more practical & frugal than most, and I actually prefer less tech & electronic gadgetry than many of you. I am not easily tempted by the newest thing available, my favorite pistol is a full size Glock and my favorite rifle is an M14. When it comes to vehicles, I suggest that you find what you like, stick with it for the long haul, modify it to your liking and drive the wheels off of it. And for God's sake, don't fall into the 'keeping up with the Joneses' trap.

The point of posting it was just what you said> "The guy filming made all really good and fair points. He is also confirmed in his decision that he did the best thing". I know the title did not match the video, and was surprised when I watched it . Some may enjoy the video. That was the other reason I posted it. If you seen other posts of mine, I try never to be too negative and try to help others. I never post to troll or start trouble as this site is one of the better sites I have been on.

Trade any '19 for any '20 = bad decision making in '19

    But wait, there is 2021 ... :D
    Dealers love bad decisions
