Thanks, didn't think I would like them until I saw them in person. I was lucky enough to get a set when they first released.

Pulled it out from under the pole barn and ran a hose over it. Still cleans up pretty well...

My First Gen with my Skamper TC on it. I am actually looking at building a flat bed and extending the bed 13" to accommodate the camper better. I will find the correct thread to start talking about that.

I normally don't advise the use of spacers but spydertrax will do.

Approximately how much does a ceramic coating typically run?

I've had this truck for about 6 months now after selling my 02 V6 to a family member.

I added 5100's and leveled it, just put on some stock Tacoma wheels/tires (265/70/16) and did some kicker speakers and Pioneer head unit. It's getting there.

The one thing I never liked on the 03+ was the painted front bumper and grille as it all blends together. I found a brand new double cab grille and trimmed the bottom edges off to make it fit the shorter grille opening. Plastidipped only the center while keeping the frame painted. Left the chrome bits for now but it may just stay this way as I'm not up for reinventing the front end with a steel bumper.

Really depends on the prep work and which ceramic coating you go with some can last up to 5 years. The guy that did my truck usually charges around $1,000-$1,500.

Nice touch with the grille. I recently saw a white 03+ that had the center of the grille blacked out but also painted the bottom portion of the bumper black. He used the curves that are above the fogs as a guide. The top portion was left white while the lower fog area was blacked out. It looked pretty nice, never seen another like that.

That's interesting. I had thought about blacking out the center of bumper up top but not bottom...hmm.

It reminded me of my favorite Tacoma gen bumper. Pretty close to this look but included the fog light area. The black white contrast was nice, gave it a fang like appearance.

Yep, thats it. Id try it out with some plasti dip. You can always start by just doing the lower bar and work your way out towards the fogs if you end up liking it.

Man, those look great. I go back and forth on that dark bronze because some pictures I’ve seen make it seem almost black, while others look bright gold.

Im sure everyone here wouldn’t mind seeing more pics if you could get some more in different angles/lighting. :D

This angle isn't much different, I'll try to get some more today in the clouds and rain. The darker bronze is one reason I went with the SCS versus the Fuel Anza or any of the Methods. I actually have a set of T4R Trail wheels and the powder to coat them "US Burnt Bronze", but decided against running spacers at the last moment.

I also like the color on these because it seems to tone down the "gold" in the DSM. Makes it look a little more like a silvery tan versus pale gold. A little. Just enough to have me reconsidering my plans for a re-paint
