Ordered Thursday and got it today. Thanks for the first responder love (free shipping). Install took about an hour. Super easy. Excellent quality. Just in time for camping.8E74F291-5C6D-4206-9BFB-AC88791AAD91.jpg

I've been looking into softoppers a lot recently. i like their functionality and potential for camping especially now that datin metal fab makes a full rack to surround the topper and be able to support a load. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it + shipping?

Man I contemplated it for awhile. I played my own game of roulette that if they answered the phone for a question I’d order lol

779 plus like 49 for 2 day shipping. Do it

I see their Tacoma rack listed on the site but not one for Tundra?

The softopper will be my next “bigger” purchase. Just spent 2500 on tires and a spare wheel though so the wife will kill me if I order this month

I have had no problems with waterproofing whatsoever. Even camped in it with 2+ feet of snowfall overnight. Only time I have had water get inside was from pressure washing after a mud bath and it was 2 little dribbles in the front corners.

Just stumbled across this post. I'm a new Tundra owner, bought one with a fiberglass bed cover. It's not super versatile, so I'm looking at other options, but don't see many of these around. What are the pros and cons of a softtop like this? Thanks!

I just put mine on this morning for a cross country trip. It was snug and had some areas like the front window (I don’t particularly want to drill holes in the truck and the Velcro doesn’t stick to the bedliner) that are a little concerning but it looks good.

I used clamps cause I didn’t want to drill holes either. I’ll take pics later on what I do. Pretty ghetto but it works LOL

@Montana bound clamp pics. These have hold up very well while traveling. They have never popped off. Like I said, ghetto but no need to drill nor Velcro and allows for wiggle room when reinstalling it whenever I use it.

my Velcro actually stuck to the liner, surprisingly.

Talking about the rail system the is the the box, yes the clear rails. Apparently they have to come off to install the softopper. I have led light rails on them and want to keep them in

I think you got the wrong brackets. Did you order the Softopper for the deck rail system? My Softopper works fine with the rails. The brackets go into the rail system.

Mate I puchased used from another guy. He told me that I would have to remove the rails , so I assume that he got the basic model. I was wondering if there was some way that I could keep the rails in

You need the clamps that fit into your rail system. Contact softopper and you should be able to buy them. Screenshot_20210601-140245_Chrome.jpg
