Chiefs held Henry to 1.37 yards after contact. Guess that defense may start getting some respect.

Mahomes had the most pass and rush TDs without a turnover in his run to the Superbowl of any QB in NFL history.

ALSO: Mahomes is now tied with Kurt Warner for the most passing touchdowns in a player's first 4 playoff games in NFL history. [Catching on, here?]

This is a team on a mission. The offense puts points on the board in runs of 4 or more touchdowns in a row [and have all season] and then add more, as needed. The defense is #1 in NFL in fewest points allowed per game since week 11.

If you bet on the Niners to win, keep your amount low ...

Only 2 players in NFL history have multiple playoff games with 250+ passing yards, 50+ rushing yards, and 3+ touchdowns: Mahomes and Montana.

Mahomes has done it in 2 seasons.

I agree. A team should be able to at least try to answer.

There is a thing called defense. Its part of the team too. Do your job and stop the other team. I mean you hold them to a field goal even, your offense will get a chance. Best overal team this way wins. Hell, if your defense scores its game over. Should the other teams defense get a chance too then.

I can agree with the other team getting a chance to answer back if the first team scores a touchdown on the first drive of overtime. However if both teams don’t score on their first drive then no the team that scores next should win.

In the world according to me, yes. I would like to see both teams get a chance. If it ends in a tie, they're pretty closely matched so let them settle it, not the rules.
Only in the playoffs though, not the regular season.

Neither team draws my intrest. Good luck to the fans of either team, I'll tune back into football in the fall, but won't be watching.

I see your point. I kinda think sudden death makes more sense in a sport like hockey where posession changes much more rapidly.

Honestly id hust like an additional 15 minutes. Do work. Even if you score 3 times and opponent doesn't score. Thats the only way everything could be even. Otherwise there is always a disadvantage for the coin toss loser.

That was the good old days. Ton of great running backs back then. I miss the power running game and hard hitting defense. I haven’t watched a game in years. Just don’t enjoy the read option spread bs everyone runs.
And yeah, Derrick Thomas was awesome. Second best linebacker of the era.

You should have caught the 9er/Packer game Jason. Something like 286 yards rushing for the 9ers and Garoppolo threw all of 8 passes the entire game.

Lol... Yeah, good times back then. We had season tickets from '86 until we moved to AZ in '96. Went to a few 9er vs Cardinal games but not quite the same vibe as the old days. The framed ticket stubs are from Dwight Clark's last game.
