So a few days ago I went through some pretty deep mud. Ended up getting water into my intake and got my maf wet. I removed the maf and dried it out and cleared the misfire code.

two days later as I’m pulling into my drive, the brake pedal got weird. Then the abs light and vsc came on solid. Next day I’m driving to work and the 4Hi starts flashing (abs and vsc still on). 4wd will not engage. The 4Hi light will only come on when I start driving after starting the truck. It will goin into 4wd before I start driving but once I do the 4Hi light flashes and then I cannot take it out of 4Hi unless I shut the truck off and restart it. Any clues to what the issue may be?

Need to pull the codes. Toyotas are notorious for setting off all those lights.

Sometimes you can take an air nozzle and blow out all the connections and then clear them and start over. Water is not your friend when it gets as high as the MAF

the maf is fine now. I fixed that misfire and cleared the codes. This new code coming up won’t read on an OBD2 so it’s abs related

Wire corrosion to the abs sensor? Just guessing or the wire came loose some how?

Yea that's the only thing I can think of. I had all those lights one time after I put my lift kit on. Come to find out we stretched the wire to much and it can apart inside of itself. Ordered a new passenger side wire and all fixed.

i have 8” of lift on my truck. Maybe when I hit that mud hole, a chunk of ice crimped a harness or stretched it. I’ll look over it all again when I get off of work here in a bit

    Like Ty said.
I’d start with the right front abs sensor. All those other codes may just be related to that. May have pulled the wires out of the connection at one end or another or broke them in the loom itself. If one of those gets damaged it throws all sorts of codes.

Problem solved. Right front sensor was cracked from a chunk of ice. When I went to pull it it broke off inside the aftermarket knuckle. Had to unbolt the lower ball joint and pull the cv axle out to push the broken part out. Also, one of the wires for the differential actuator was torn out of the plug. Fixed those, started truck up and a block down the road the lights all went away.
