I'm new to the forum & also to Tundra's so appreciate the knowledge.

I'm in the market for a used 2017-19 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro & wondering if there's anything I should consider between the 3 year's models?

Also, less importantly, I wondered why some Tundra Pro's rear "TRD Pro" logo (above the rear wheel fender) is colored-in vs not? Is that an option?

    Thanks in advance.

I've always thought the Pro's rear fender was just an indentation that was painted the color of the truck (no colored decal)...maybe guys are adding decals?

In 18 they added safety sense. A lot of fellow tundra enthusiasts hate it. Myself included. I don’t need my truck to tell me when to stop. The rest is basically the same among the years you mentioned. Keep in mind they based the 2020 off of the limited platform and not the SR5 platform. A few goodies on the 2020 because of it

With the '19 you the new LED headlights and the Rigid fogs.
The TRD Pro stamp in the bed comes without the fill but some folks fill that in with color stickers
Agree that the '20 comes with some goodies that the older ones don't bit I've been very happy with my '19

    Welcome!

So no pro in 18 model.

17s and older will not have led headlights. They will also not have tss sensors to worry about if adding additional mods.

19 plus will have led headlights. No transmission cooler. Has tss and you have to be cautious with not blocking sensors with mods. It will have adaptive cruise control. 2020 will have new headunit with apple or android play. Keyless entry and start. Also it has heated seats. 2020 also brought back the DC pro. Crewmax only for 19 models.

Bedside is indented like the tailgate. You can get decals or leave bare.
