^^ This. I too think it will help with what you're trying to achieve. I think...and I could be mistaken... but the lag that you feel is related to torque management. If you think the Tundra lag is bad you should drive a new Chevy lol. I think you'll be happy with a high city or low sport setting. Like @Trooper2 said, you have 30 days to try it out and see if it suits your needs. If it doesn't, it's as simple as unplugging it and it's like it was never there.

Yes - torque management sounds perfectly plausible! Like a torque converter that's worn out and slipping - except that wouldn't explain why it works when it's put in tow/haul mode, so it has to be a "management" setting somewhere.

I completely missed the money-back guarantee. That's fantastic news. I'm ordering one first thing in the morning! Thanks guys, and I'll report back with my experience too.

I really cannot be anymore happier with the PC. The lag is gone , smooth faster acceleration.I am in city mode. My mpg did not change but the pedal is crisp and responsive..

I think city mode +1 on the PC is the way the truck should have come from the factory. Still loving it after 6 months of use.

    OK,

I bought it! Installed properly seems to work but on my favorite City +1 it has a dead spot. Kinda stumbles as it goes into second. Not bad and not always but starting and low RPM's has it's own issues...

No check engine lights and I left both keys far away for 10 minutes. Secure click on both connectors....

Dunno... feels better but again has its own issues...

Okay, slight thread hijack. The S&W Combat Masterpiece is one of the finest revolvers on planet earth (IMO). Bought mine about 20 years ago (15-4) used but looked like it had never been fired (probably sat in a dresser drawer all that time).

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled program...

Installed mine yesterday, and that was something I noticed in my '18. Only did about ten miles, but I'm going to keep an eye on that for the next 29 days...

I got mine for $270 shipped and installed today. It makes a huge difference in my opinion. I've only driven it a few miles but could tell right away it was more responsive. I am looking forward to using it in the coming weeks.

I just put one in because I upgraded to 287/75/18s. So far so good. Noticed an immediate difference. Truck was sluggish and now it feels back to normal.

    Question:

Will having the PC installed "teach" the Tundra? I just sold mine as I'll be doing more towing and it doesn't work well for tow/haul BUT in the little bit of city driving I've been doing my Tundra seems WAY more responsive than it was when I installed it back in May.....

Mine is noticeably peppier! Not quite the PC Sport 2 I liked to run it in...but defiantly not the sluggish factory performance... You'd think I'd notice a huge drop off. I think the last month in Sport 3!

Anyone notice an improvement AFTER removing?

For those considering while expensive NOTHING as easy with such benefits! A cool device but again not for towing.

I like this install. Just got one from one of our Tundra buddies.

Reading though this, I don't by the negative review some tuner posted. Sure they can accomplish more with a $2,000 computer and software tweaking the code, I don't know how to do that.

5 minute install and cruised around the block, "Butt dyno" felt so I'm happy. Fact of the manner is I didn't think the throttle was bad till I installed this! I was happy everytime I stomped it to get in traffic.

On my 4th gen v8 4runner, it is amazing!

Same! I have had mine for over a year. I took it off for a day just to register the difference. Wow! I could never not have this on my truck.

IMO, it’s a must have. I keep mine on Sport +2 and it really brings my rig to life. Love it

I actually tried to buy a Sprint Booster before I got my Pedal Commander. Talked to the corporate headquarters and was told they do not make a model compatible for the 2005 Tundra. Same technology, same form factor, just delivered in a different module.

I was back to the homeland in 'sota last month, and my buddy ordered one for his '18 1794. I slapped it in for him, and the grin on his face, while he tested it out, was priceless! He's commented a couple of times since that he can't believe how much nicer his truck is to drive now.

Just installed mine last night. City +2 feels just right. No more lag.

just for the hell of it, I tried Sport +. Holy crap it chirped the 295’s with a blip of the throttle!

I’m a fan of this thing!
