I am on the board for 2020 steelhead season. Picked up this lil hen on Monday.

 

Very nice! I am 0/1 on my first trip last week. Lost a nice bright buck at the shore. Going again tomorrow, hope to have something to post.

Thankyou jewsNbrews. I am enjoying much more than my 17 Tacoma. I am heading up to the mountain in a bit to drive around after I clean the undercarriage to find out what kind of lift I have. It doesn't make sense: cleaning before the mountain, but my wife wants to ride passenger and I have to wait for her to get off work. As well, my alignment I thought I could get into today, won't be happening until Thursday. So, I might as well clean underneath and head over to the local accessory shop to order my canopy. What are you up to today?

Working. But its taken a hit, having to reschedule people due to the virus outbreak. We are no longer doing elective surgeries.

 

Oh, good to know. Are you a scheduler or a surgeon? And, your truck is beautiful.

 

I am an RN. I see pre op and post op patients. I schedule as well as place all surgical referrals mainly with some post op bandage changes here and there.

Oh awesome. I was attempting Nursing school here at CCC a long time ago. It wasn’t for me. I thought it would be. Loved the science medical behind it, just some stuff I couldn’t get pass. Gross stuff. I went the criminal justice route. My wife is an LPN and Resident Care Manager for an Alzheimer’s facility . She is enrolled online through Indiana State for her RN. I missed out on the Nursing career. I kick myself. Great pay and knowledge.

 

Not a bad choice. Both have job security. People will continue to break laws and get sick. Tell the wife to keep going. LPN to RN and RN to BSN.

 

Yep. The ISU program is a BSN.

Hello PNW! I have had my TRD PRO for a month and love it! I am interested if there are any meet up groups with fellow like minded individuals that are in/around Washington State. I have a 360 area code, live in Lynnwood, WA.

 

Welcome to the site. As I was informed a week ago after posting my Tundra, PNW Tundras on FB has a ver active group. A lot more Washingtonians than Oregonians on there but real supportive.

We tried to do a meet up last spring, but we couldnt get a date because everyones schedule was hectic and sporadic. I am always down to meet peeps

Nope, still working. I dont have FB.

How are you and the Mrs holdong up?

 

I will have to check out the FB PNW group on facebook. I am not an avid facebook user so I need to figure out how to get there haha. I have been working from home for the last month and probably a few more months since the whole corona virus outbreak. I am looking to meet up with some new people and share a hobby together like exploring the great outdoors and whatever else comes to mind.

 

Id be down once this virus stuff is over. I dont have much exploring on the west side of the state. But I'd like to remedy that. I need to hit up our rainforest more for sure, only been there once.

 

That would be great to explore the west coast. I haven't been over there in a long time.

 

I'll be down for a meet-up once this crap clears. I don't do the FB, so if it's not posted here I won't know about it. Breakfast or lunch somewhere in the middle of the state sounds good since we are all spread out. Plus give us a chance to run the trucks!

 

That would be great! I haven't driven it long distance yet. Maybe I can get it above 13 MPG!

 

Lets do it! I have weekends off. Plus some time off coming july and august if this crap stops.

 

I have weekends off too! Not very heard of in my line of work lol. I have plenty of PTO to spare so the summer would be great too, of course once all this virus/social distancing is over.

 

Things are good. Her facility has the 2nd most cases of Covid in Oregon. So, Marion County Health Department issues the most supplies to combat, in addition to the other facility that is #1. She gets stressed due to CNAs being stressed and overworked and calling in. So, I try to help her out by buying stuff for my Tundra.

 

Stay safe. Hope my future significant other lets me buy stuff for the truck as stress relief lol
