Appears to be some serious bro-lean on that white one (or maybe just the pic...aka Carolina lean).

 

It is actually a TV antenna. I used this type (Shakespeare) antenna on my sailboats for years. They work better on the water, no interference to speak of, but work very well over-landing too. The TV is left in the tent when it's folded and there is enough cable to set the TV outside also. I usually average 10-20 channels of English speaking channels, more in some spots. Out in the Mojave I designed it where I could elevate it on a 10' piece of EMT for better reception. Really great to have for extended periods off grid.

Went and played in the snow today.

Super excited to get into the Tundra once the Runner moves on.

 

What's the deal with the 4Runner...inquiring minds want to know...

 

99 Limited with 3.4 & Auto
~235k miles, probably 237k by the time I sell it. I promised my wife I'd keep it until Valentine's Day to be sure I like the Tundra. I love the 4Runner. It just can't do some of the things I need it to do...like tow my sports car and haul mulch/rock. I just checked compression on the 5vzfe and was surprised how good it is for having nearly 1/4M miles.
Driver's seat outer, lower bolster is no bueno, abs light is on. All things considered, it's a great truck. Going to post it FS here and on T4R on 2/15 with full details.

In order to keep the wife happy, I can't sell you the Runner until Feb 15. But I will certainly do so.
I'm going to keep the Tundra.

How do you like those Coopers? Ive had them for about 20k now and I swear they're louder on the highway than my BFG A/T's (not ko2) were.

 

I have the same generation 4runner and tundra,so do 2 of my neighbors. Weird how that works lol I'm thinking about selling my 4runner also

 

I'm restoring/modifying a sportscar also, so three cars is too many...even if the newest is a 2006. I'd like to keep the Runner, but can't quite put my finger on what I'd use it for. No kids, so I don't really need the backseat. We've got my wife's car if we need to shuttle 4 adults.

 

I like em. My wheel bearings are so loud I cant really hear any tire noise.
