You have yourself a deal. I can deal quite decisively with commies, socialist, earth nutters etc. You'll need to prepare to wait 6 - 8 hours for to see a doc in the ER or walk in clinics unless you're literally dying, take nearly a decade to find a family physician after moving to a new town and months long wait lists for surgery. :)

    Anywho. Back to armor. :D

Yeah, I'm curious about that. I think I would have preferred this aluminum option though. Keep the weight down. They do have this sentence "All of our front skidplates feature an easy to remove design eliminating the need for oil drain access and saving you from having to clean up the mess caused by all that oil that doesn't make it through the access hole."

They didn't do a very good job taking pictures of the setup though. It's hard to tell where the coverage ends and where they mount. Also no mention if drilling is required.

Yeah they suck at taking pics lol. But the gas tank skid is enticing

personally I think the bruteforce fab front bumper looks the best. it not to big and not ugly. I just wish they made rear bumpers too.

They make one for the first gen tundras it's just not listed on there website. There are a few people on Instagram who have them.

Disclaimer: I do not personally own one but the people I have talked to about theirs say they bought it from brute force fab

I'm going to try to buy a Brute Force rear bumper when my tax refund comes in. Assuming I can get a hold of Billy.

Maybe a bit later this year. I'm thinking about a rear bumper with some side protection. Probably drive out and pick it up.

    Hey Guys,
Just picked up my 2000 Tundra about a month ago. Came with this bumper, Thought I would share.
I did have a question for you all, my first upgrade is to install 5100's and after doing some reading, would I need diffrent coils for this bumper? or will I be ok with the stock coils.
    Appreciate the input.

Look super heavy. Id go with a stiffer spring rate to handle the weight and not sag.

Yes, go with stiffer springs and let them do the lifting....call Wheelers and tell them your situation...they are super helpful.

Is there a certain coil you would recommend? that would pair well with the 5100's?

I'm not an expert, but Wheelers are. ;-) They will probably suggest an OME 2886 would be my guess...but I'd call them. This is another option from 1stGenOffroad.com...their heavy duty Dobinson's on 5100s.

Thanks I think my best bet is the ARB OME Level Kit - 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra with 2887 springs.
Double the price of the 5100 kit but as I have read many times, buy once cry once =D

Is there a code for this site for any coupons?
    Thanks

Upgraded coils couldn't hurt. The ride quality would be better than if you preloaded the stock coils.

The 2nd set isn't compatible with 5100s as they are a 2.0 diameter shock and those are coils for a 2.5 diameter coil over. Notice the flat portions in the springs. 5100s don't support that style spring

Thanks guys for your help on the matter.
I pulled the trigger on the 5100 (x4) and Dobinson Coils for the front to help with the steel bumper.

I will post picture update once I put it in.
    in the correct thread. :frusty:

Just keep in mind there's a more appropriate thread to post suspension stuff in. This is the armor thread.
