I just can't help but wonder if these CAT tires will fit. I think it will be bad ass.

Sorry for being my first post, but couldn't find my answer thus far.
I currently have a 2012 with the rock warrior package currently all stock, and am looking to swap out rims. currently the tires on it are 285/70/17s. I'm looking at a set of 18" rims was a +12 offset, and most likely would run 285/65/18s for the tires as this is almost the same overall as the current wheels(from what i saw on a tire size comparison visualizer)
Just wondering if this should be doable without any modifications, or should i be looking at other rims
    Thank you

I order a set today and I when with 295/70 R18, will be posting next week. But I have did some research and 295 is the max u can do with cutting nothing. Really wanted to go 35’s but didn’t want that extra work neither.

Question. I have factory tires and rims, I do not want any lift or leveling kit. original tires are 275/55/R20 and I understand that I can put 275/60/R20 without any modification or trimming required. My question is, can I put 285/60/R20 without a lift kit, what kind of modification will I have to do to make them fit. I do not mind losing the small mud flap in front of the tire but would like to not have to do any other cutting or trimming, is that possible? If not, what will I have to trim to make this work. the 285/60 are 4/10 of an inch wider and 1.5 " taller than stock. The 275-60/R20 are 1" taller but no wider. I can not imagine how 4/10 wider and .5" taller can make that much difference than the than 275/60's on stock wheels without a lift kit. Has anyone tried this? What do you have to trim?

    Thanks in advance

Check out customwheeloffset.com. Go the the gallery and put in your specs. They have dozens of pics with different sizes, offsets, etc. Plus a description on if they had to trim and if it rubs. They're usually all for aftermarket wheels specified by diameter, width and offset so you may need to look up those specs for your stock rims.

Still haven't been able to find an answer towards it, but if it helps, the rims I'm looking at are the Black Rhino Roku rims in bronze and 18x9.5 +12

I searched for awhile on this thread and similar ones. I went ahead and pulled the trigger without confirmation. But I have 100% stock suspension on 2019 SR5 4x4. I went with Method 17x8.5 with 0 offset. I was really hoping to achieve an inch or two no more no less outside stock fender. Tires I went with a 285/70R17. I was fully prepared to have BMC and or front bumper trimming. I couldn’t be HAPPIER with how it turned out EXACTLY what I was hoping for. No BMC needed. Slight front bumper rub in reverse either side. I did use a heat gun to push bumper liner forward slightly.

Can you take a pic from the side? I was always under the assumption 285/70/17 would look too small, but those look good from the pics.

I agree; that looks good. 285/70/17 is just shy of a 33" tire. I think that's the perfect size for an unlifted truck.

Just put Nitto Grappler 285/65r18 on my stock sr5 CM and no rubbing at all so trimming does not appear to be necessary at all. Thanks for all the answers as this forum helped me make my decision, even though the dealer tried to scare me out of moving up tire size

2020 SR5 stock suspension. Went with 18x9 Fuel Vapors and 33x12.5 Nitto ridge grapplers. Didn't have rubbing at first, but after 100 miles got some. Rub while tacke hard right or backing up and turning wheel either side. Should have read thread before hand. Next is a 2.5" Bilstein 6112 and 5160 lift. Debating on back lift to keep rake. But that will wait until I get some overtime in.

Slightly noticeable. Doesn’t bug me one bit though. Was expecting a lot more noise.
