Ok for those that have vinyl wrapped your truck, bumpers or any parts on your truck or are a vinyl wrapper what wrap should I get? I'm going to wrap my from bumper ends in flat black. The 2 I have it down to is Matte Black VViViD XPO Air Release Technology or 3M Scotchprint Series 1080 Matte Deep Black. So which one? Thanks and Go...

I have had a 3M wrap in gloss black on my roof for about 3 years now, and it is still in great shape!

Not sure if it's the same vinyl material as the series 1080... but it's held up great so far.

Thanks. I've heard good things about the 3m but heard it was a pain in the ass to install.

    Yep.. I know it's thicker.

I had a company install it who normally does full wraps and what not and they made if look like a breeze.

But I know it's definate talent.

Def will. Might do a video of the install also. Just got to decide on the vinyl to order. Hoping for some more inputs on people who do vinyl wraps for a living or others who have done it themselves. Have everything in my cart on Amazon.

I haven't wrapped anything on this truck, but I've done it in the past on previous vehicles and my brother's car after the paint faded. I've only ever used 3M. It's a bit of a learning curve to start messing with it, but it's not too bad to put on. I learned from watching videos on youtube. We've had pretty good luck with the 3M vinyl.

Best of luck. I failed miserably wrapping my bumper ends, might have been the cheap ebay material I purchased. I sanded and sprayed 'em. Now that the paint is failing, I found and ordered OEM plastic ends for $75 ea.
