Appears to be two layers of the sticky metal tape on the sides. One behind the wrap and one on top. Pics hard to show but I can feel the seam

LOL! I had a mix of empty and loaded but the empty ones would move when hit by the trucks, so the track is made out of loaded and ones in middle are empty

I was having a stippling party all week :D

Removed the kitchen cabinet doors and drawer faces from half the kitchen. Sanded and primed them to prep for painting.

Will be doing cabinet faces and the other half of the doors/drawers tomorrow.

What kind of Paint are you using?
hopefully not from a rattle can.

Kelly Moore has a commercial grade paint called 'Durapoxy' that would be perfect for you cabinets.
once it dries it is damn near indestructible and will live on for 30 plus years. it with give you a silky smooth epoxy finish.
Once cured It will not wash off even with goof-off or thinner. The best 75 bucks a gallon you'll ever spend.
Rent an airless sprayer if you don't have one.... easy peasy.

and get those doors in a sanitary environment... not in the backyard.
make a spray booth inside the house or garage out of plastic sheathing...
good prep & sanitation is the key to a superior paint job that will last.

Hey, thanks for looking out and for the recommendations.

This was only sanding and priming today.

In doing a half dozen test panels with a variety of approaches, I got the best results from spray primer, so I went that route. I plan on using urethane enamel for paint.

I plan on rolling paint on in the garage, not in the backyard.

Thank you for the tips. Much appreciated!

Some night time photos of a property I’ve done a lot of work on. All the landscaping and lighting have made this place an oasis for my clients. Believe it or not I’ve still got more lighting to add yet.

Our KitchenAid side by side fridge stopped making ice. A few days later the whole freezer was warm.

Today I installed a piercing valve and put more Freon in it. Works like a charm now for less than $30 including the Freon kit and a can of Freon from the parts store.

I also changed 2 blown light bulbs

I put up 3 recently but disabled the audio because it didn't really work or sound well to my liking.

If I run cables to them for constant power, I may reenable it.

Are you running yours on AA or did you run a cable?

Just batteries. My 3rd one is 2 way audio. Other ones are 1 way. I’ve had zero issues

Paid the neighbor (that counts right?) for this:

    18A3BBC6-0806-4A68-A372-E1A9EA018AE4.jpg

He’s starting on an all new deck this week.

The dock and deck were both grossly overdue for refurbish and well out of my limited home improvement prowess.

It was a lot of work. We had to trench and run conduit underground to all the various locations. The hanging lights are all 110v.

Ha, it counts in my eyes...we paid our contractor to do most of the work in our bathroom. He did our bigger one and we liked, so got him to do this one too.

I added the trim and will put in towel bars and hooks.

This is updating the first Reno we did when we moved in. I guess we've been there a while....20y now.

Took my brothers advice (my real brother, not the in law famous for the towel rack) and got some motion sensing solar LED lights. It's a 4 pack for $29. He has had them for a year and no problem so far so I got a set.

One thing I've not liked about my house is walking through the dark walkway late at night. Not that we have crime here, I just don't like stepping on snails. :D problem solved!

Wrapped up some electrical and lighting work in the garage this weekend. Added three LED overhead main lights, three directional LED's and moved the LED hangers over to a new worktable area. Also added a bunch of new outlets, a charging area for lights, batteries, etc, as well as new light switches and breakers. Ended out running conduit for all of it instead of going thru the walls. Was my first go at doing electrical work, so it was a fun (albeit slow) learning process.
