    I wasn't aware you could lift a camper. I may have to look into this for my next one, as the current one does not like the low water bridges leading up to my hunting property.

    ProComp 6" Lift, 18" Fuel Moto wheels, ProComp Xtreme Terrain 35" tires, full-TRD exhaust.
    The dealership told me that the 10000 limit on towing was BS, and that the tundra can tow a lot more. I saw the video of the space shuttle tow and all. I especially like the video in this thread with the 30 footer toy hauler. My question is how much can I really tow? I am looking at a toy hauler. I know that it have everything to do with suspension. I have a 6 inch ProComp lift, stage one.

    The bigest limiting factor with the Tundra is going to be the tongue (or pin) weight. Payload is only ~1500lbs so a 10k trailer should have somewhere between 1,000lbs and 1,500lbs of tongue weight. So you are at the limit already and that doesn't factor in all the passengers and gear you may have in your truck. And, yes, I would think after hauling my gear that the Tundra can haul a good bit more than 10k. What that magic number is, I have no intentions of trying to find out.

    There is obviously a big safety factor on the numbers because Toyota doesn't want to be liable for risky loads.
    I loaded ~2,300 lbs in the bed of my truck and the engine didn't really feel it. The suspension did. I was sitting on the taller super-bumps I added. Probably would have touched the stock bump stops too. Handling was a little off as the truck was unbalanced.

    I think your dealer is absolutely correct. At his last job my dad hauled 12,000+ lb fertilizer trailers with a stock 5.7, and he said the Tundra pulled better than his 3/4 ton Ram.

    What I tow 2016 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS Fifth Wheel 2010 Keystone Outback 300BH - 32' 8" 8200lbs - TRADED
    Its 32 feet. This was from a trip we took from Mass to Sandusky Ohio. Averaged about 8mpg. Average speed was about 70. The tundra pulls this thing with no issues. Spent about 1500.00 on gas round trip when gas was over 3.00

    image.jpg Towed the camping trailer yesterday. First time for a longer distance , went about 200 miles. That's equal to one tank of gas. The Tundra pulled it with ez. I'm towing 5000 lbs empty, probable closer to 6000 with gear and passengers. I was surprised that the trans seemed to stay in 5th gear while in tow/haul mode. I avg 10 mpg.

    I have gotten as good as 19mpg. That's being very gentle on the pedal. That's with the 5.7. But normal is 16-17
