I have a 2020 crewmax SR5 and wondering about remote start. If I setup the free trial of the remote connect and Entune will it allow me to have remote start? Also, once the free trial is over do you have to have a WiFi subscription for the vehicle as well in order to use the remote connect features.?

Not all devices are compatible with remote connect. Check with toyota for your device. Once trial is over you will need to subcripe to it.

Do you have remote start capability in a SR-5 level? My 2020 limited will start using the fob pushing lock 3X and holding on the 3rd time. I also setup remote connect and it gives lock/unlock start/stop, tire pressure, map locate, guest driver settings - mph limit,range.... and a few other things. Saftey connect, Remote connect, destination assist all are good for 1 year, Dynamic Navi expires in 2 years. I use apple connect and haven't even touched Toyota navi yet. I'm not sure if I will subscribe to any of these features once they expire. I'm fine with the remote start on the fob.

Do you have the remote start feature?

I have a 2020 SR5 with the premium audio. I setup remote connect and can start the truck with the app. Haven’t tried with the key fob yet.

I tried to get Remote Start on my 2020 Sr5 with the app. It said my vehicle was not compatible to have Remote Start. My dealer told me I had it at the sale. Did the app. Nope!

Mine says it just has safety connect, which I haven't signed up for yet.

Mine made no mention of remote connect, just the safety connect. Yeah you have to have the premium audio for it to work.

I have a 2020 SR5 CM. Just tonight is was trying to see if I had the app capabilities. App kept kicking me off. Went to the garage and pushed the lock button 3 times and hold it in, the Amber lights flash and mine starts up. Motor dies when you touch the door handle. Still can't seem to make the app load right though (Android).

Swampshark I believe it's just standard. Not JBL. Nav is through Android auto.

Swampshark I was trying to set up the remote app. It wouldn't let me enter my Vin but didn't say the Vin was not compatible. My truck does have the wifi though. That's what I was researching when I came across this thread.
