    You will like the improvement...I did the 2018 LEDs with the iHacker harness and they are fantastic.

    So you just put LEDs in halogen housings? Thanks for blinding oncoming traffic.

    Some think you have to get the $1000 new lights in order for it to be street ready.

    I think I'm going to try the $35 bulbs myself, when the weather permits installing them. If it get flashed or they seem unsafe at all, I'll look at OEM.

    Did you remove the grill and entire lights to install or were you able to sneak in and just change the bulbs?

    Yeah I had to remove the whole mess yo get to them why they designed it that way have no clue, I guess to squeeze the extra Penny's out of the customer's who aren't mechanically inclined... use towels to protect the bumper and paint and actual headlight when you pull it out.

    Here is a side by side pic of a halogen bulb and an LED in the same car. Tell me if you see the problem with putting them in the wrong housing. The light tends to be scattered and it creates a halo or even a blinding effect for oncoming traffic. Now, manufacturers may have adjusted the reflector housings to account for this, idk, but it's a good idea to check it and be sure you're not the driver everyone hates coming down the road.

    @RFG1022

    Any chance you could take a pic of your new LED bulbs in the Halogen housings, against a wall like above

    I have leds in my 08 oem housing the only thing I ever did was point them down a little but that's mainly because I'm lifted 6" but they help see alot at night. I dont know why people put up such a stink about this subject I have never even had any one flash there lights like they do to my wife in her 2018 stock Camry

    I have a feeling if there was a forum vendor that sold $35 LED bulbs to put in Halogen Housings, it would be a different story. :anonymous:

    This is not a knock on this forum, it's a knock on forums in general. They all help promote their vendors and sellers.

    I had Auxbeam LEDs in my old setup and it definitely helped, even had a little cut off line too...

    They do have white light halogen bulbs at the dealerships that they will install for you. This way you don't have the blinding LED in the halogen housing but still get that LED look. Mine are great and much brighter than the stock yellow light halogen.

    @Ronin73 I did not know that. I may inquire about those, thanks!

    Most of my driving is daytime, I just hate the "look" of the halogens now that all are house and other lights are LED. I don't want to spend $1000+ ok them, so am weighing options.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
    Same here, no blinding light coming for LEDs in OEM reflector housings. The newer LED bulbs are designed just like their halogen counterparts so light is emitted in the same manner using the reflectors so as not to blind folks. Just study your existing oem type bulb and look at quality LEDs, one is patterned after the other. Not sure why so many don't get this?

    To each their own and their own budget. Light on! : ^ )))

    I had a guy behind me tonight in a Tundra with LEDs in his OEM housings. Just glad I have an auto dimming mirror. Reflection off side mirror lit up the inside of my truck. I think they should fail safety inspection if not the right bulbs. I am seeing more and more in DFW. I think my buddy is getting tired of me bitching about it.
