That does look awesome! Thanks for the pictures! How did you end up wiring them? They sell them with or w/o a switch.

I bought them several months ago when they had a sale. Not sure if they always had the switch option but I got them without. Very simple plug and play but I wanted the option to turn it off so I ended up wiring in my own switch lol

I just ordered some lights that are very similar but in white with five instead of three. I plan to write into a switch also that I ordered. Never messed with wiring though. How did you wire yours? Seems easy but I don’t wanna mess it up!

It was very easy except I can’t remember. Basically splice up the wire and put the switch in between the light and power. I got my switch from ch4x4

Ya I ordered mine from them also. Me not being the electric guy see two wires coming from my lights and 4-5 coming from the switch. I’m stuck what wires go in...

I think it was as easy as red to red, green to green and then of course the ground. Can’t remember all the exact colors.
On my switch, I had to flip the the red and green if I remember correctly as if I didn’t, the switch light was always on.

How long did your switch take to come in? I emailed a couple times for tracking or even an idea of when it would ship and haven't been able to get a reply. When i call nobody really answers. Now that i saw that video im anxious to get the job started!

Didn't take too long. I looked up email and tracking and looks like I ordered on 9/24 and I received my switch on the 28th

I wasn't sure of wiring myself before that project but afterwards and just kinda understanding it, it was really easy. Easy enough that I tackled adding some recessed lighting to my house hahaha

If you need any help, feel free to message me!

When everyone wired up their lights, how do you take the grill off in the future with Yota LEDs installed?

When I changed my headlights, I left it hanging LOL

Next time, I'm just going to unscrew the LED lights, it's pretty simple and quick

I put a connector on the line so the grill comes off easily. Just thought it would have came that way

I think I ended up putting in my own male/female connector when I wired it up to the switch but ended up wrapping it in electrical tape for any water issue

i'm sure this is obvious but... is the product the same thing as 'raptor lights' or is this totally different?

Similar except instead of 3 white lights on the grill there is 5 white going into the hood bulge. prefer not to have "Raptor LEDs" lol more like "Yota LEDs".

I made my own on my TRD Pro grill for less than $25.
Tapped into the parking lights in the headlight.
Had an extra deutsch plug laying around so I put it inline to disconnect when I pull the grille to change the headlight bulbs.
Also put a little 2 amp inline fuse just in case.
Come on with the parking lights, don't want them on during the day.
They look great at night, but it is hard to get a pic of them.

Looks great! On my Tacoma, I did my own too. Bought some off of Amazon for like $20 and did my own wiring. Only reason I went with YotaLEDs was because it was all wired up so pretty much plug and play :)

I had the grill off around the Xmas time frame and just before I added the Yota LEDs I was bored I guess and found an extra light strip laying in the garage so I added it to the back of the grill. Not the best pic but taken from a video
