Well i'm glad i only bought stock ADS shocks in the back and not a whole new leaf pack and extended shocks. Looks like i'll be trading up to this in February when you guys get this all straightened out for MT! Super cool stuff going on here

@osidepunker was the guinea pig. He's had it for about 18 months. I think @papasmurf is installing this week or next. I'm hoping to have leafs ready at the end of Dec. Then there are 3 or 4 more leaf packs that have been ordered through Deaver. So, haven't been through the first 10 yet.

We still have a couple LT kits available. I know some parts have changed cost so I'll let @papasmurf answer question about kit cost.

Heres the update boys and girls...

My leafs should be home by this weekend, I'm going to try and do the swap before Christmas.

The parts cost a little more than initially quoted, but the initial 899 will still stand for the first 10 kits. (leafs not included)

After that price will go up a bit. final price TBD

ill have updates of the install process in the next week or two.

as far as kits that were spoken for. I believe I have 6 kits still available. PM me if you are serious about buying, and I will give you PayPal or venmo information.

Thanks for following, I'm also still working on the MT version. Apologies for taking so long, there is a lot of moving parts here, additionally, I still have a day job, home life and other stuff to focus on.

Yeah I still need a truck... trying to work with deaver on the leaf development but hes being a little weird about it... might have to hit up atlas or another spring maker...

@osidepunker can add his thoughts to this

They are a bowtie outfit primarily, but Offroad Design also does custom springs. Not sure if they are a reseller and contract out to Deaver or Alcan or if they do their stuff in house.

Atlas has done Tundra LT leafs already. They would be my first choice after deaver. I've run Alcan leafs in the past and they work well for a trail truck but they dont have the right recipe for a soft high speed ride (ie thin multi leaf packs like deaver).

When we start getting serious about speccing MT 3" packs I'll reach out to Atlas if Jeff says no. Its not a difficult thing, I think Deaver is just dealing with supplier issues right now

    Ok everyone, the long-awaited update...

    They are in...

So the install process is not tricky but there are some "gotchas"

I will lightly go through the install here but will offer install to local folks who would like that, or more info for those doing it on their own.

That being said. I'll be testing this coming weekend to see how everything shakes out.. without further ado.

    And it starts..

Side by side comparison of i96xhd vs 3"

You need to get the stock mounts off there are 6 rivets holding each one in. After talking with @osidepunker the DC will be easier than CM trucks as the mounts on the CM's are right under the body mount making it a bit tricky, ultimately used a plasma torch to burn out the rivet heads and an air chisel to separate the plates from the frame.

you have to weld the shackle spacers to the inside edge of the TC shackles to get the proper angles etc for wider leafs.

    new mounts going in.

    Shackles done..

this includes the frame bushings, which require 13/16ths of bushing material to be removed from each side.

I used the blue tape which happened to be the perfect width when butted up to the head of the bushing around the neck and trimmed off the excess, you dont need to be too exact here. you need 1 5/8ths total removed from the bushing pair to fit in the frame with the new sleeve that accepts a 5/8th 6" long grade 8 bolt. Addtionally you will need to drill out the TC shackle eyes to 5/8ths as well. (they are 9/16ths from TC)

    one in..

and now for the vid of the first time being set down!

Ok let the questions fly, as i know there will be many!

    Thanks, Bruce
