Met up with @Jim LE 1301 earlier today and got the wheels and tires he very graciously picked up for me in PA and brought to CT. Didn't get any picks of the meetup unfortunately. Thanks again Jim! Great to meet you and your wife today!

Yeah we actually had a very warm (although very windy) January day for New England ... I'll take 65 degrees in January any day!

Fortunately I haven't had that experience here yet (quite the opposite actually) but I've only been on here for less than a year. Hopefully it will continue to be awesome people like Jim and others i've talked to and done business with!

Yeah she told her friend about it so they're gonna check it out. We couldn't really stay long enough in CT as it was getting late but next time we'll make sure we find it!

Works for us! Is there one near you? Once a year we drive right through that area of CT then into NY and PA on our way to South Carolina.

 

They are about 30 minutes east of where we were.They all tend to be near I-95.
Where do you go in SC? Always looking for new places to visit.

 

I have family that lives in the Greenville/Spartanburg area (about an hour-ish from Charlotte, NC). Years ago we would take 95S most of the way but it was traffic and cities (last time we did this was during the whole Baltimore riot crap). We did it once after that so we could stop in DC so we could take the kiddo to the Air and Space museum. Since then we started to take the scenic route through PA via 84 and 81. Only about an hour longer and no huge cities that might have protesters blocking highways. Also don't have to drive through NJ which is great for many reasons.

 

That's how I go, 84, 81 to 77. I love the Lake Norman area of NC.

 

Yeah driven through there quite a bit but never stopped. It does look beautiful though ... huge lake.
