    Been looking at reviews and comments seems almost hit and miss. Am I wrong?

    Have heard both as well. Seems like more issues with shipping and/or customer service with folks doing there own install.

    Being local I would be more hopeful. Just get everything in writing.

    I would at least give them a call or a visit.

    I believe @Netmonkey had a pleasant experience with purchase.

    Wow I reviewed both of his installs, man, certainly seems that with time and patience and time, you could have a nice system...

    Not sure what you are wanting. If just a Head Unit you could use Best Buy and have a good warranty.

    @1UPPER

    Any other recommendations in S.A. area?

    You may have more luck in the Audio Threads.

    Flux capacitor!
    I would contact Taco Tunes. They can typically do the whole install in a day or two. Depending on what you have done. I would ask Taco Tunes to give you a quote on sound deadening your truck. They are usually very competitive on their price and it makes a big difference.

    I haven’t posted it yet but I have several of the taco tunes products that I need to sell. PM me OP if you are looking for the processor or door panel templates for 6 1/2” speakers.

    Not sure yet... in my 2013 I had installed a new pioneer head unit, focals in front hertz in back with a 8 inch sub, with sound deadening the front doors from custom sounds. It sounded fantastic just not sure I want to spend that much...it was a very expensive install. So looking for the best options this time around.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
    If you install yourself or along with a knowledgeable buddy it would be lots less expensive.

    Luck deciding. : ^ )))

    I’ve had customs sounds do many vehicles including two of my tundras. The focals paired with a new head unit and JL audio amps sound amazing! If you go to custom sounds off San Pedro talk to Gus the manager. They do great work but they’re definitely not cheap!

    @james@tech12volts seems to have some good setups / buys for various DIY budgets. Many on here rave about. Definitely check out as part of your decision process.
