I have a 2017 Platinum Tundra and I have what probably is a dumb question but if anyone knows the answer I would appreciate it. I'm a little OCD about interior lights all working and I noticed on the drivers door window control panel that the switch for the passenger window has a window on it like the drivers window that lights up blue when the lights are on but the passenger window button does not light up. I swear I saw it on in the past but I may have been mistaken. Online parts listing have no bulbs listed for either switch. Does anyone know if the passenger window switch on the drivers door is supposed to light up when the head lights are on???
    Thanks in advance.

Toyota gives you one lit power window switch panel on the Tundras, for the driver only. For some reason they probably expect thanks for this.

Can you roll down the passenger side window? If not, try hitting the unlock window button. If you'll notice that if the light is not lit, it's because the lock button is enabled stating that the power to the other windows have been terminated.

See if that works for you.

I've learned something as well. I guess that this is added functionality on the upscale trims. Thanks!

And you wouldn't guess how I figured this out. You'd think it would be from just looking at that spot like OP did but it wasn't until I installed aftermarket tow mirrors that have an LED strip on the front side that needed me to tap into the passenger window switch wire. One day when I got home and left my truck on, I noticed my LED strip on the passenger side was off. I was like, "No way, I just bought these. They're only a month old." I took the side interior panel off and checked everything. It wasn't until I was troubleshooting some more that I found out I had the window lock on because I had my puppers with me earlier that day and they tend to hit the window switches on accident. So, I hit that button and later on that evening I see my LED strip on. Surprised the crap out of me to know that I didn't think to try that sooner. Now I gotta figure out where else to tap into to get my power source but I've been too lazy to find another spot. So, for right now I just try to not lock my windows.

Hmmm.... I'm guessing that my 2nd Gen SR5 doesn't have that functionality as I've never noticed the passenger window switch illuminated, and I've never locked the windows, but I'm still going to check. Sometimes it's fun do discover that you're mistaken in your understanding of how your truck operates.

I had the same thought as you thinking back to when I had my '08 but realized that my SR5 didn't have an auto roll up/down. It was just like the back passengers. I'm thinking that's why they didn't integrate a light for the passenger switch.

Sorry, I meant to say mine was driver's side only as well and I think that's why they never implemented the light feature on the switches.
