Color matched or black

I’d like to do Something to my Cement CM to delete some chrome but the color matched is so pricey

 

Yeah the 2020 handles with the smart entry are so damn pricey. Luckily they are the same as the sequoia, so at least for MGM, I can buy them and not have to paint them. On top of the big price tag, you'd also have to paint them for cement. I really do love smart entry though, my last car was a 2016 civic and it had smart entry and smart exit, so when you'd walk like 20 feet from the vehicle it would lock. Not sure why that part isn't on the tundra.

 

It’s definitely a subjective choice, but I think color matched looks better.

I am torn on what to do with my MGM, I have the color matched door handles and mirror caps arriving today and now I am thinking I should have went with the black instead, I have black badges coming as well. decisions, decisions

 

I just changed mine from black to color matched. I've always thought color matched had a more premium look. The black handles just felt cheap to me and I didn't like the way they looked. Totally personal preference though.

 

If you're doing black badges, I think the color matched handles will look much better than black. Will give the doors that nice cohesive look with just the black badge drawing attention.

 

I have the color matched mirror caps, but dont care for the matched handles. My cm came with black badges. I think the black handles look better and break up the MGM color just enough. Definitely personal preference though. Still want the color matched bumper caps. Hard to get a hold of.

Those caps are painted metal replacement parts, not overlays. Additionally, that price is for the front only. The rear caps in MGM are just under $1k.
That's a little too pricey for me.
