What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Finished up late last night installing ********* TXD8005-5 channel amplifier and KickerCompRT10.
Wow what a difference!
Used their plug and play harnesses and install was straight forward and not overly complicated.
Stock speakers for now but the extra power makes a big difference in providing fuller sound at normal to medium volumes.

Just need to clean up wires under the seat today and double check all connections.

 

TRD Rear Sway Bar installed.

Why did you do it if you need to trim now? Sounds like you were ok before.

 

The wheels were a little tucked in before. Just a bit. I trimmed the flaps behind the front wheels with a utility blade, good to go.

 

Did my taillights, cargo lights, reverse lights and license plate lights with LEDs from Headlight Revolution yesterday. Ordering the rear blinkers and LEDs for my son's Tundra. Today, I gave her a bath. It was in the 40s, but sunny and she needed it.

Installed my Tuffy center console safe that Santa brought and modified my salex organizer to work inside it. Too dark to get a good picture but I’ll post one up soon.

 

I finally got around to installing the Bilstein 5160's. Easy, 45 minute install. Didn't even remove the tires. Just used my floor jack at the hitch to lift the weight off the shocks.

Best advice was from someone who posted here a while ago. He recommended to use the hose clamps to hold the strapping to keep the shock collapsed. Cut the strap off the top, slid it into the hole and hand tightened the nut. Aligned the bottom to the bracket and loosened the clamp and it slid slowly in. No crow bar or trying to get it in the hole before it fully expanded.

Now just trying to figure out what to put up front. Any thoughts? I'm not doing any crazy offroading but really like the look and reputation of the Kings. Elkas look awesome as well.

Oh forgot to add that I bought them "used" on Amazon for only $107 each. There was nothing used about them. They were perfect in every way. Box was just a little beat up.

 

Installed Amp Research Power Steps

 

Installed the Victory 4x4 bedside Molle. It turned out to be a pretty easy install - I was expecting issues with my
Powertrax tonneau cover, but no issues at all. Now I just need to get some velcro straps and secure my gear.

 

do you have to remove the rails and reattach with the Molle's fastener behind it? Any drilling at the bottom (or elsewhere?)

 

do you have any leak issues? I installed the pace edwards bed cover like yours and mine still leaks a little. It also flaps when at highway speed, which sucks because I liked putting the back window down and now its loud.

Finally got my wireless charger in today and installed it because I have zero patience to wait for the weekend . Works like a charm! Tell me again why Toyota doesn’t do this in their 2020 TRD Pro?!!
