I have a 2015 SR5 double cab and need to travel with kids, 15 and 13 in back seat for 5 hour road trips. Is there a divider I can put in middle to make it more comfortable or something for the head rest area?

Just give them each a Benadryl and a pineapple juice spiked with 151 about an hour before you get in the truck.

They seem old enough to stay at home by themselves now. That would make the whole trip more comfortable for you!!

Give them a tablet or other internet-connected device to use while you're moving. They'll be fine.

They have all that stuff but sometimes I see them falling asleep and bobbing their heads.

5 hours....heh...I used to run my kids longer than that to volleyball, soccer tournaments and 2 trips to Idaho per year (23 hours straight, one way) in a double cab.

Only moved up to a Crew when the daughter hit 6 feet tall.

this is one of the first ones that popped up when I googled center consul for backseat of a pick up truck. Something like this might give them a little comfort so they can rest their elbows. To make my kid more comfortable when we go on trips we usually stack a couple blankets and pillows for her toLean on. Even when she brings a friend they typically stack some stuff between themselves on the center seat and lay against that.

in all seriousness, it took me til this post to realize the issue with the double cab. It has plenty of legroom, plenty of seat. The harsh angle of the back part of the seat is the issue! It needs to be more reclined to be comfortable

I’m glad I’m driving! I’ve never sat back there other than momentarily.
