I’m more upset I don’t have the factory service manual for mine... I have literally 100s of the oem manuals but very few tundras.. I’ve got every supra/mr2/taco/land cruiser/Prius/paseo/tercel/Camry..

But didn’t get the tundra manuals before they threw them out.

a damn set is 700 bucks

    Ah. Nice.
    Like mine? :bananadance:
Yes. I’m also replacing my needle bearing with an ECGS bushing.

Good to know, looks like a lot of them are straight through but I was thinking of their turbo series, the ones with the S pattern inside.

never messed with those.. actually didnt know they existed..

im kinda hooked on the QTP mufflers now... put them on a buddies car.. something wonderful about a muffler and cutout in the same package... and it all comes out the tailpipe.. not dumped under the truck

Started my lift and noticed a ton of leaves and crap in the door pillars behind the plastic guards. Glad I caught it before it began to rust.

In the process of installing new Camburg Uniball UCA's, Moog LCA's with OEM LBJ's, Energy rack bushings and new tie rod ends. Should of been done today but she's still in pieces at my old mans place thanks to some frozen alignment bolts. Went with SPC for the replacements, they seem pretty nice. One of my alignment tabs is bent so I gotta get that squared away too. Hopefully the air hammer can pound those bolts out tomorrow. Installed the new OE leafsprings with an Icon 3 leaf pack on Wednesday, stoked with that setup. Got rid of that crappy riding lift block finally. She's gonna drive like a new truck again, I can't wait!

The clock is tickin tomorrow, gotta get her buttoned up before the gate drops at round 1 of Supercross! Let's gooooooo!!

I'm going to be doing the ECGS soon. Just got new axles. Did you also buy the seals and the tools? I'm not sure what all is needed

For the prostreet did you run center in and side out? Im going to look up some sound clips but I like the price compared to the dirtydeeds. I do have my reso deleted so you think that will cause a drone with the prostreet?

The previous owner installed a Gibson muffler on mine and it sounds great. It has a nice mellow tone that's on the quieter side and runs awesome.

I chopped off the resonator long ago. I run a center in side out but I didn't pick that, I got the muffler for free from a friend when he went to their smallest size. If I picked I would go center in center out.

What's the difference? I remove my res and added a free flowmaster. I think it's side in center out iirc

05-06, theyre working on the a340 one. biggest advantage? more fluid, aluminum pan, better cooling, and you can install a trans pan temp sensor for a gauge.

more fluid and the aluminum help cooling. apparently its noticeable. i might look into it.. i dont know.

Are the 6000 around the same size as the stock muffler? Or is extra pipe necessary?

That sounds like a nice setup. New leaf springs should really help. Did you happen to measure before and after? Which coilovers did you go with?

    Sí.

On the ‘Patrick Edition’ Starfish Rims. I’d love to get ahold of some new(er) or used center caps to experiment with some new paint. I’d like to restore them back to OEM color instead of black. I’d then paint the Toy oval emblem inside with a black accent.

I bought a bearing race drivwe on Amazon for about $20, but I bought the seal, bushing, and removal tool from ECGS.

the tool is a total ripoff though. $45 for a piece of threaded rod and two plates.

As much work as you’ve done on your truck, you’ll be happy once you get it even for just removing/changing/rotating wheels. Thats all I’ve used it for so far.

I’ve got a 1/4” Makita that works for most stuff, but I’m not ready to jump for a 1/2” just because I’m not ready to be married to a brand, especially because my makita kit is from work.

Milwaukee is the best, but also the most expensive...
