I have one. I think I need a short socket instead of the long sockets I just purchased. My swivel would work with less projection. Always something!

I think the tundras driver side shock broke on impact

[IMG]It extends a full 3” further than the other one and the springs completely
    Loose

Since you've got one loose, could you measure the stock spring for me? I'm trying to figure out what clip to set my Eibachs on with my new 14" springs.

The truck is a little quieter now. I wouldn't say it's a dramatic difference but it is noticeable.

It was my first attempt and I probably would have seen more improvement if I had applied more to the front doors. I will say that music sounds better. Putting the material behind the speakers made a difference.

I have 6 full panels left so I may do some of the floor under the carpet.

The side trim turned out nice. Breaks up the black and looks better than the old fake chrome.

Unfortunately some of my patients where not so lucky. :(

    Long night.

ass end is 1” lower than the front now. Hopefully the front settles, if not I’ll make my own AAL with some taco recall springs.

That sucks. I avoided having to work (firefighter/EMT) last night as well as staying off the road and being collateral damage.

Messed around with some badging as my tailgate seems too plain to me.
After staring at it for a bit I think the other set I have coming, that’s more 3 dimensional will look better, but it’s in black not white

Did a little Tundra crawl tonight.
I really assumed the bumper was attached to an L bracket that bolts into the side of the frame horns in front. Alas it is a bracket that goes over / in front of the frame horn, w/o any discernable crumple spacing. So that pretty firmly kills the drill new holes & tuck the bumper in 1.5"
    20200101_183242.jpg

While I was there - WTH are my front tie downs? They are both missing. (Anyone have 1 or two on a shelf they'd be willing to toss in a box & send me for shipping?) This truck - only matter of time until it's on a hook.

    Sorry man. That's tough.
I usually stay home, but this year I went out. Took the Tundra to hopefully be taller & heavier than any misfortune that might be sent my way. I was lucky & got home w/o incident.

Thanks for being out there & making a difference.

What really sucked last night was that it was a truck, seatbelt, airbags, everything, no difference.

Damn. I had a college buddy from Montana. He always said drinking was the number 1 winter sport there. Glad you stayed safe.

Stuff goes a long way. I was impressed. I need to pull the seats and carpet to do the whole floor. I also did the back, under the rear seat and the compartments.

foam up behind the kick panels (theres a small bit from the factory there already) makes a big difference on noise too. and a little bit of foam up in the a pillars kill a little bit of noise too.

If you can find some nice waterproof foam thats in big sheets for the doors that also makes a big difference.

I like how you did some of the floor hump back there. What's the best place to remove the carpet if I wanted to start up front? Just pull back from under the steering wheel? I assume some of the plastic trim has to come up first. I've never pulled carpet but it looks like it's just velcro'd down in a few places.

I was actually surprised that I did notice a difference when I did the air bubble with foil insulation on the back of my cab. I want to say maybe lower frequency road noise was impacted mostly.

I did this yesterday and I was surprised at how much it helped. I used the exact same product. The only degreaser I have is simple green and I wasn't sure if that was safe to use so I skipped that step. :anonymous:
