worth the xtra $300 for the little knobs ?
looking at KINGS coil overs. Can they be adjusted without the little knobs ? I can see some kind of external device outside the reservoir.

I've got the adjusters and don't use them very often. It's hard to say whether they're worth it. I like having 'em and would do it again. You might want to take a look at ADS c/o too. Matt (MCM fab) said you can get 4" of lift from 'em. I installed straight out of the box and got between 3- 3.5", cured the tundra lean and don't seem to have much pre-load on the springs. But, if you get your Kings from Keith, he'll be sure to have 'em dialed in for ya.

For the price, I think the adjusters are worth it if you don't mind taking 2 minutes to adjust them all real fast. Street ride you can drop them to the softest setting for a smooth ride quality and when off road you can stiffen them to prevent bottoming or blowing prematurely through travel.

I'd rather have them and not use them, than not have them and need/want them. From a standard shock with no adjusters, I believe its 10-15% softer & firmer that you can go.

Joon, I think they were $250 used and I replaced the ball joints.
I've got Toytec shackles set at 1" (and it looks a little low). The c/os alone seem to have fixed the lean but I'd better go physically measure it to be sure.

I say if you can afford the adjusters, do it. The ability to fine tune suspension without pulling the shock apart is a rather nice feature.
