    Polish won’t make it better. All things considered having the side doink fixed, after living with it for 10 years, with color matched paint made me very happy. Looks worse in angled photos or certain lighting (both in this photo) than with the naked eye in person. Overall very stoked. Only thing that will fix it is a total proper shop paint job ($3-4k?).

    Also, I’m considering painting the entire truck with the ‘matte’ clear coat (which is sold as ‘high gloss’) just to unify things. Basically, I’m done putting money into her for a few years until another decision is made on keeping her. She is an old truck that looks way better than most her age.

    You can re-use yours as they are expensive. I used an oscillation tool to cut the Toyota strip bridging the larger TUNDRA words from each other. Used Fuze adhesive.

    On my front grill, I bought a Tercel emblem ($13) which has a cool slant action on the letters. Makes the truck look faster.

    5100’s at 5th notch, Add-a-leaf, diff drop.

    In high school a friend had almost that EXACT truck. Only difference was he had no stripes, and steel white wagon wheels. We got into so much trouble in that thing.
