I did a complete front brake replacement on my 2017 DC SR5 TRD 2WD, new pads and had the rotors turned by a local brake shop, I did the brakes myself as I have many times before, this was the first time replacing the original front brakes at 54000 miles.
Needless to say when I brake no vibration and braking feels great however at freeway speed I get a bad vibration between 65 - 75 MPH! :(

All lug nuts are tight on wheels as I used an impact gun, any input is greatly appreciated.

    Happy New Year everyone!

Tire out of balance. I’ve seen wheel shake when braking that’s the braking. But if shakes just driving it’s out of balance. Just had this happen in my corolla.

Wheel Balance? Doesn’t make sense as I also rotate my tires every 5k..... I guess I can take to a tire shop to check wheel balancing as an option. Thanks!

Just a thought to check. I took my corolla and had tires rotated and balanced. Got it back and shook above 65. I went back and they found A tire out of balance. Now smooth as glass. Sounds like something out of balance. May not be tire.

Could have knocked a balancing weight off while taking the wheels off.

If the balance doesn't resolve the issue look here. Distorted hubs and stretched studs are no joke.

Did you grease your U-joints when doing your oil change? Could have a little sticking going on there. Fairly common for people to forget

Check your weight on the rims. I had new tires installed on new rims. Had a pretty good shake at highway speeds. After a week couldn't take it and rotated the tires. Cleaned up 95% of the shake. What are the chances three tires needed a couple oz's each to balance and one tire needed NOTHING, or did the installer forget to balance one. And the one missing the weight was on the front when I had the bad shake. and when moved to the rear axle can't even tell unless you know what it feels like.
