2014 MGM limited rebuilt

Just got one with wrecked front end and thinking to do trd pro front end, what do you think guys?

Might want to pick up an ice scraper also.

 

The pro front end is a great choice.

Really excited about this project, I'm not willing to shell out over 55k for new 2020 Trd pro so I'm going this route. Donor vehicle is 2014 limited

Planed upgrades so far:
Trd sport grille
Trd sport headlights
led fog lights
Color matched front bumper
Raptor style 3 amber lights in grille
Towing mirrors
Painted fender flares
Aftermarket air intake- mine is damaged so I need to replace it anyway
Soft bed cover
24'' led strip behind the grille?
Running boards
What do you think geltenmans, is there something else that I should add?

 

Definitely should add more elk protection.

I think it will look fine with MGM colored truck

 

Also got led fogs, bed cover and tow mirrors

 

I would like to make my truck look like this one, that's why I removed hood scoop from planned upgrades

 

Steering wheel on my truck has some cuts so I will have to replace it. Should I get one with wood accent or leather one is better?

What’s something like that cost versus buying complete and whole?

 

Drove it out of the garage after fixing abs sensor broken wire, no more warning lights on the dash. No suspension damage, rides nicely, took it around the block at 1am yes, I'm working this late cause I started like at 10pm

 

No elk up there...a lot of big moose....although I think Roosevelt elk were transplanted in southeast AK a few years ago.

 

Nice list! Skid plates? Block heater? Probably already have a decent flashlight for this time of year up there....since it's mostly dark....heh..heh..

And yeah , I do have tons of good flashlights that I use in winter only , it never too dark in summer

 

Unfortunately steering wheel that I ordered came gray instead of black, had to return it.
Half of the parts I ordered are missing in shipping! I don't know what is going on with FedEx ( all packages that are missing were shipped with FedEx)
On the good side I got soft bed cover installed, took me about 10 minutes to install and this is counting unpacking it, reading manual and searching for tools ( screws driver and 10mm socket ). I don't know how long it will last but I love it, nice and simple

 

Got some parts in mail.
