That's what we often do ... makes all the difference when people are competing for your business.

Usually, we work one dealer down as low as we can, then we can get an extra 500 bucks off [or a feature like added running boards] just because we got a printed quote from another dealer.

Later edit: perhaps, it is for this reason that dealers do not like to give written quotes.:D

Sorry bout that didn’t know you were looking at the crew cab. The SR I think is only available in the double cab

No problem. I'll take all info lol. If it was just me I'd definitely get the SR or SX package

I just picked up a CM and am glad I did, with the wife and 3 boys 7,5,3 the 3 yr old in the car seat and the other two in boosters it’s a way better fit for me coming from a 06 crew cab Tacoma we were packed in like sardines

3 girls here too. I did look at the DC and the leg room in the back seemed about the same as my taco. The middle seat is especially bad because of the center console. Also, the DC doesn’t have the rear AC vents in the console for the backseat. We decided no on the DC rigjt away. No regrets with the Crewmax.

I was in the same boat a few years back now all kids all grown up and out of house I really wanted a regular cab Tundra but settled on the double cab since Toyota doesn’t offer regular cab anymore looked at the Tacoma but kept hitting my head getting into it drove the Tundra and that was all it took.

I was in the same boat. I was looking at a SR5 and TRD Sport. I didn’t like the chrome on the SR5. I had completely removed all the chrome on my Tacoma, so I didn’t want to have to start over with that. The Sport had no chrome, the TRD sway bars, LED headlights and fog lights, and front and rear parking assist. It also had blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert, but I can’t remember if the SR5 had that or not. I could’ve saved some money with SR5, but the Sport is what caught my eye from the get go. I also kind of like the scoop. :notsure:

All of the extras on the Sport were worth it to me. I just need to upgrade the tires to something a little beefier.

i do wish the sr5 had the blind spot monitoring. I feel like that should be standard on all cars by now. for safety.
