This is the fun I am having with the Morimoto lights on my 2018 Platinum

 

I really sympathize with the trouble that you're having. But folks are probably getting confused because this is a thread specific to the lights for the Gen 2 models 2007-2013.

 

Sorry, this was the other group buy fiasco thread was closed. Not easy getting help with this. I cannot drive my truck now because I have EVERYTHING flashing that is not working.

What do they look like AFTER dark and compared to 2nd Gen stock lights! To me, this is the same thing as cool looking, bad ass sunglasses, that look wonderful on our face but what do they do about the sun? Gotta be more to 'em than appearance/decoration.

 

Has HR started shipping these yet?

on the 07-13 Tundra XB LED Headlights, We're booked! All sets that we had In-Stock have Shipped. If you have not received Tracking Info, I am afraid to say you'll have to Hold out until 1st-2nd week of .... wait for it.... February.

Yes I said it, we are expecting our next shipment in on February. Keep in mind, this is Subject to Change either Sooner or Later, we go off ETAs from the Manufacturer!
Once we get the next shipment in, we will gain a fair amount to keep them readily in inventory. Those Early Birds who got their orders in early lucked out with snagging a set on this first smaller shipment!

I will keep yall Updated the best I can. I do apologize for the late timeframe, I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware!

For those wondering about the performance at night, I’d say they’re better than stock. When I first installed them the low beams were uneven(one was high and one was low) just had to manually adjust them to get them even with a screw driver. The leveling motors work great! Had some good rain after install and no fogging. I’ll try and get some night shots tonight or tomorrow

First pic, daytime running lights. Extremely bright! Almost as bright as the headlights on low
Second pic is low beam.
Third is high beam, super concentrated like a spot light

haha it will be well spent! I'm extremely impressed with them! you could literally drive at night and see just fine with just the DRLs

Does the drl seem to overpower the headlights?

 

No, when you turn the parking lights on and headlights on the DRLs dim by like 50%
